So while i was watching the introdcution video for Blanka, i noticed that his KO screen with the CA will yield some delicious imagery. So I took a screenshot of it.
Am I like the only one who have zero preference between charge or motion ?
I don’t know, never really cared/liked/disliked either. The only motion i hate is piano because it is very stressful on my hands, playing an extended set while doing piano makes my hands tired.
It comes down to what you’re used to honestly. Like I understand why the CA motions were all standardized into QCFx2, but I can’t deny that I found the charge super motions from before more comfortable.
I guess you are right. Balrog was actually my 1st SF main character ever,1st game i played seriously was SF4 and he was my vanilla main. so i did start with charge but towards the end of vanilla SF4, i switched to Abel. Then when SSf4 came out, it was Cody ever since.
As someone who plays on Pad, i find that charge characters have some quality time destroying the d-pad. The down button will get wrecked if you are constantly holding down back. Kinda why i like Chun cuz she isn’t a down back machine.
Still, both type of characters have their own fun things about them, but i can play both efficiently and at the end of the day, it doesn’t really matter that much to me, personally.
I’ve played Bison for over 10 years as my fav SF character. Then I’ve started using Makoto in 2011, no problems. During the until SSF4 I was the only one of my group using a charge character, from February 20 I’m gonna be the only one using a motion character.
I think the main issue is VT1. It should be 3 bars and consume more gauge per attack like the video said, and that B.HP loop needs its damage nerfed in general. Start with these before touching anything else.
