We haven’t truly been able to recover since that announcement. It was enough to really fuck things up.
Fucking ranked. I hopped in cold and have lost 4 sets in row. I just went Pert0-2 against a guy I should have 2-0’d. Stupid fight money challenge.
I… have been distracted… for reasons and lost quite a few ranked matches tonight.
Still silver at least, but I still need more 7 wins for that 2.5K FM. I guess it will be wise to resume ranked tomorrow.

I’ve been doing really up and down with ranked since I hopped back on. I’ve spent most of my time fighting Beekmer (runway) and Pookie (Fundamentals) and it’s only let me get better at fighting their style. Like I lose to Pookie but I know why I lost since his approach is much more methodical.
But I hop back into rank and people just don’t give a shit. I dropped rank last week but haven’t been able to recover since my character basically became a new one. But I’m getting my bearings back. Slowly but surely I can get back into the rank mindset and get back to diamond.
After playing most of the SRK guys for the last 3 weeks I’ve come to realize I fucking hate rank. But at the same time I want those fucking points.

Ranked is a bit bumming because it is mostly against anonymous people you can’t message after to tell them that we had good games and it was fun. Or even that they should be doing X and Y to improve and beat you.
It feels so… impersonal and cold. 
But I want those points to make to gold so I can stop being completely the worst SFV player here.

I was going to spend my fight money on top tier Abigail but after hearing Falkes theme, I’m going to save it for her.
I already spent too much of my fight monies on waifu characters (I got Kolin and one is already too many). I don’t even care much for Falke, but that theme is hotness.
