btw I hope you will be able to change VT before rematching someone online. It’s kinda stupid if they give you the choice between two VTs and don’t allow you to adapt to the current MU.
I need to know what the hurtbox/hitbox changes mean before I actually celebrate, but for now I’m feeling somewhat optimistic. I’m not expecting a sea of buffs, but anything to not make my life miserable would be great.
I’m assuming they will since that was a common thing for SFIV to change your ultras to the matchup. They want people to stick to their characters so that they can gather data in ranked and casuals, but I don’t think they’re going to be a stickler on which trigger you use.
Input lag, one sided rollback, region filter… No, I’m pretty sure Capcom forgot about it. Today’s blog pretty explain who their target (still) are, loyal fans can wait.
Still not THAT much of a problem because it’s Fang, but V Skill being an actual hit box in trigger means he can truly lock up the screen to give you another problem if you’re already poisoned. Fang being able to lock up more of the screen is good.
They already added a generic nerf to all VTC combos so they’re just hoping your happy that less damage happens when you get hit bopped in the face by a VTC. VTC plus on block unga is the meta.
We’re also streaming an entire path of Arcade Mode along with showing off Sakura and more V-Trigger IIs on January 9 at 3pm PT on the Capcom Unity Twitch channel!
This might be worth watching. If we get a real player on it, that is. I still remember the last one.
A buff? It looks like a nerf to me. If you cancel into VT at any point during the combo it will scale harder. Unless they only mean VTs that actually hit.
Also the command grab recovery on whiff will be around 60 and not 70 frames as previously announced. Most characters should be able to do backdash > fwd dash > heavy punish but only a few ones might be able to punish after a backjump.
I don’t think it will change much after all, since anyone above Silver was already able to punish whiffed command grabs.
