64 is probably my least favorite Smash. I’m gonna be real. It feels so unresponsive and clunky to me.
I’ll play it if someone puts it in, but give me a choice and I’m always gonna wanna play Ultimate since Samus is at least better than she ever was.
I do miss Samus being a tank in Brawl though. It was so much cooler when she could Switch back and forth between Zero Suit and Varia Suit.

This just confirms I made the right decision stopping with Brawl.
Technically the first Smash I played was 64 but I grew up on Melee. One of the few games our strict church parents let me and my friends play.

I mean, I ain’t giving up all of Smash just for that one change. But it made Samus an insanely unique character being able to just literally shake her armor off, become Zero Suit, AND pick up the armor pieces like items and throw them. 
Sadly she was ultra trash in Brawl. Even worse than Melee.
Also I just downloaded this Warframe game and it’s pretty fucking fun, but Jesus I’m so sick on every FTP game being grind city with 50 different currencies.

That didn’t have anything to do with it tbh I was just done with the series by then. Wasn’t hanging out with those same friends (we all went in different directions) and I lost interest in it.

I didn’t have a 64 but one of my best friends did so I played smash on that not sure if melee was also on the 64, but we all played one of the smash games on that.
Only other smash I played was at some guys house I used to get weed from. It was whichever one sonic first appeared on and I always picked him.

Subspace Emissary was beyond cool. Like, way cooler than anything that game should’ve ever gotten. I remember having my mind blown as a kid seeing these super high detail CGI cutscenes with all these different characters.
I also still ship Samus x Pikachu because of it.

Really I’m just desperate for a high mobility shooter.
I’m bored of Apex, Hyperscape is the blandest shooter in history, and Titanfall 2 is unfun at this point. For the 3-4 hours I played Warframe it was dope.
I’m open to other suggestions tho.

If you want a shooter with crazy movement options, it honestly doesn’t get much better than Warframe. It’s obviously a grindy game but that’s OK because the moment to moment action is so good.
It’s also free, yeah, so no harm no foul if you end up hating it haha. I played that game for years on PS4. Don’t know if I have it in me to ever dive back in.

i did replay RDR2 and MGS5 but that about it.
Melee was clunky??? Even without wavedashing, melee had the best movement.

North Side Kings honestly reminds me of like, precursor Emmure. Which is a good thing. Not sure if you’ve ever listened to them but it kinda reminds me of this:
^ I love the almost rap-like influence in their music. It has a very street level feel to it. This album is nothing but Marvel Vs Capcom references, right down to the very song names. The singer is an avid fighting game fan and even had an account on SRK wayyyyyyyyy way back.
