Martian is an impostor.
I think that TrueUnderdawg made a video discussing it recently.
Is mostly a problem on how the hitboxes and hurboxes move after certain actions making them inconsistent.
There are even some chars that can force those wonky effects.
Like Kitana who can interrupt blockstrings that have highs in the middle of thge route by throwing low attacks
I’ve been pretty honest about my love for Smash on here for 10 years now.
SRK stay thinking it’s a bad game just because the community sucks. I can guarantee you most people here have owned and played at least 1 version of Smash as a kid, and damn well loved it too.
But I mean, SRK talks mad shit every time a new Street Fighter is released too. If they can’t even show love for their own game, I’m not expecting anybody here to reasonably approach Smash.
Nah, I’m just messing with you.
I’m a fan of Smash 64 myself. Plenty of good and bad on that franchise.
I know. I realize I’m exaggerating in areas myself but, the general disdain SRK has for Smash has always been hilarious to me.
Totally get the hate for the community, don’t understand why that translates over to the game itself tho.
I just found a cool Android 18 model for Blender and i can’t even share some screens because even if i try to pose her dressed, the shirt is bugged and her nipples pop through the cloth xD
Can’t be having that NSFW ey…?
On the other hand…
Who’s going to stop you?
Well, it cant be helped that for some people, the community ends tainting their perception of the game.
I personally dont care about the series, since by the time it became a thing i moved away from Nintendo consoles, so my time with it was very limited.
But i can understand why some people just write off the game after interacting with the community
Like a friend of mine for example who was a TO alongside with me, he was a smash fan but having to interact with the community for all the events soured him to the point he no longer plays smash.
Well, you can always share the screens via pm with me
See, I can’t get on board with this sentiment at all. Not even a little.
Community almost never has anything to do with the quality of whatever that community is based upon.
MMA community is absolute trash, but UFC and martial arts are a great thing. Undertale is an awesome game, their socially inept furry fanbase doesn’t change that. Fighting games are awesome, and the man children on SRK and elsewhere don’t change that. I mean seriously, as much shit as people talk about the Smash community (and it’s deserved for sure), the FGC doesn’t have some clean record either. Pretty sure we’re the guys known for stabbing dudes at the arcade, or getting loud and rowdy as fuck in public spaces, ect ect. Shit, just the stuff with Wiz this year goes to show no community is perfect.
If I had let all the shit talking, bottom feeding assholes on SRK scare me away from fighting games, I’d have probably missed out on something that has provided me immeasurable amounts of joy for over a decade.
People really gotta stop letting other poeple define what they can enjoy.
And you could also send them to me,ya know so I could make sure you’re getting quality models lol
PS @MARTIAN its all jokes I don’t have anything against smash. I will say I only ever knew one competitive smash player irl. He was paired up with me in basic training for the military. Almost everyone in our unit disliked him because he caused trouble for everyone. So maybe I am biased lol.
If it ain’t online smash doubles using Hero and items on high, it’s wack.
Ah, so I see you were born in the lag… Molded by it… By the time you moved to Ethernet, you were already a man.
Lol, that’s retarded. There are things i really like about MK11 but some shit really annoys me
Well good for you.
But the truth is everyone does that to certain extent to different things.
You maybe conciously think you cant get behind that kind of metality, but we as humans are wired to do this as a self preservation mechanism.
It is how generalizations, stereotypes, etc are born.
Is good to try to approach things in a way that certain things dont become a factor in your enjoyment or pereption to something related to it, but is innevitable to do it at some points or that some people will due it moreoften than others.
Lol, just as we moved from brawl all the characters I liked got hilariously gutted or changed too much.
Metaknight, Pit, Marth, Falco, Olimar etc. Corrin got knee capped and Robin is trash.
Just give me full on crazy or its no longer fun.
Jokes on you, my main got nothing but buffs.
Brawl Ganon was a struggle.
Sure, that’s fair. But I think being able to seperate things is a good life skill to have as well.
I absolutely hate the DBFZ community for the most part, yet my love for that game has only grown these past 3 years. I’ve been to locals and I’ve even hosted events at my place, with my equipment, and tons of those dudes were disrespectful as hell, socially inept or just plain assholes with egos the size of a cruiser.
Those guys haven’t made me love the game any less. I get what you’re saying: people often seperate themselves entirely even from something they used to love as a coping mechanism. To me, if you’re willing to give up a passion of yours like that over some random assholes, maybe you didn’t like it that much in the first place.
I play Samus.
I have since Melee.
I think that alone gives you a good idea of my suffering.
/A Haiku by Martian, do not steal/
And i agree, but i wouldnt be surprised when someone isnt able to do it, since is after all a natural process of how the human mind makes associations.
