Any word on a US DVD release for the original episodes?
Funimation hasn’t said jack about it in 2010 as far as I know. Sometime this year, don’t know when.
Okay did some more looking into it and apparently the OVA came out in Japan on 1/6/10. I thought they just reversed the numbers like I’ve seen before. It’s the DVD only episode we have heard about. The magazine I got is from January. Why it was on the racks like it was new well… The Japanese bookstore close to me does some pretty random things with anime and manga magazines so shrug… Anyway, sorry about the confusion… 
Fairly certain you can watch the OVA episode online somewhere but you might have to dig around for it a bit.

As far as I can tell the OVA’s about what Motochika and Motonari were doing when all the stuff in the first season was going down…the fights in the trailer look badass. Also apparently they’re releasing a full video of the OP featuring the dancing ashigaru troops…not the least bit embarrassed when I say I need that now.

Poster I got! I had to literally take the magazine apart to get the poster out. I guess that’s why the magazine’s cover reads “For Girls and Ladies Only!” Women throw magazines away so ripping apart magazines to get some posters is probably now big deal. Men / Otaku keep everything. Well at least I do.

I think he’s the alt. Ranmaru…like how I feel that Magoichi is the alt. Nouhime.
Also…I’ve started to not hate Kanbei’s moveset after watching his vid a few more times.
pretty cool, at least she has some range unlike Ranmaru, which made no sense. She looks a little plain though. Who is she related to?
The game seems to have some nice obstacles. I wonder if they’ll implement a bit of platforming as well.

Who is Tenkai?
I’m asking because in Samurai Warriors 3, that Mitsuhide is shown wearing a mask also.
The other NPC in red is Kobayakawa Hideaki.
His weapon is a frying pan…a freaking frying pan.
This is NOT a joke weapon neither.
It’s too bad Hideaki isn’t playable.
But I think this last part is why they probably made the connection between both.
as hot as Oichi is, she was really boring to play. I hope they can do something interesting with her this time.
