will sanwa rgs fit into a tournament edition stick?
Just checking but what are the sizes of the screws that would go in the flat mounting plate of the JLF? They are stripped from the top and I donāt remember what kind of screws were used to hold the mounting plate together with the JLF.
Quick question guys. I really like my Seimistu PS-14 KNs, but I was wondering, did Sanwa do something similar to the PS-14 KNs? I read somewhere they used to a while back, but they are hard to find now. Can I get the name of the Sanwa buttons, that would be much appreciated. Thanks.
Get some flathead (countersunk) M3 screws (3mm of 0.5mm Pitch) at length of 8mm.
Nope, Sanwa did not make anything similar to Seimitsu PS-14-K or PS-14-KN.
What Sanwa did was a Button equivalent to Seimitsu PS-14-GN(???).
Sanwa called those Buttons OBSC-30.
Also made was OBSC-30RG.
This is kind of a weird question, but i figured this would be the best place to ask it.
I donāt know if button flatness has been mentioned or discussed on this thread, but Iām looking to get this set of buttons that I found on somebody elseās stick.
they were solid all white, probably snap in (but I have no grounds to make that assumption) and they had a really flat top. The edges of the plunger were also very sharp, which I found to be a lot more significant of a detail than i had originally thought! I remember them being very easy to depress, not much force needed, which makes me think of them as sanwa, but my obsf 30ās arenāt that flat, and the edges on them are very smooth. I was wondering if the obsn 30 is actually flatter?
Iām hunting through seimitsu buttons, but I canāt find solid colors in snap-in form. Lizard Lick and GamingNow only sell seimitsu snap-ins in some black body + colored plunger form. From the pictures, the ps-14-gn looks flat enough, but the edges donāt appear that sharp to me.
This is gonna bug me for so long until I find them! >_<
Plz help, Iām just another guy hunting around to build that āperfectā stick!

How is this weird?
They do , but barely. Youāll have to finesse the wiring a bit.
2 quick questions since Iāve never replaced buttons before (just an octo gate, LOL):
-
When I reconnect the QDās (on 1 button), does it matter which prongs I connect to (on that 1 button) or either prong is fine?
-
After I mount a button plug, those 2 unused QDās (for each button), does it matter if the metalās are touching each other (on the QDās)? Just paranoid I might short circuit something. If they shouldnāt touch each other then should I just use electrical tape & wrap each QD to avoid this issue?
Thx!
Does not matter.
Does matter if touching.
So insulate both Quick Disconnect from each other.
Yes, electric tape.
Wow, quick response thx! I literally posted those questions, went downstairs to get a screwdriver & checked this thread again (since instant email notification doesnāt work unless itās a PM for some strange reason).
So quick.
Thatās what she said!!! :-p Last question: When you say it does matter if the 2 QDās are touching, are you referring to touching each other or anything metal in (pcbās, mounting plate, etc.)? Thx!
Anything metal.
Each other or the metal plate and others.
So quick again, LOL! Thx!
is there any other stock xbox 360 stick that has a Seimitsu 32 joystick in it, besides Xbox 360 Real Arcade Pro. EX-SE?
Not counting the other variation of the HRAP EX SE (HRAP Mushihimesama Futari); no, there is not.
I recently put an LS-55 into my HRAP3. The engage distance is a little too short for me. While installing it, I noticed it uses levered microswitches that seem to decrease the engage a bit. Is it possible to replace these with non-levered switches? Will the stick still work correctly? Would soldering be required?
where can I buy Sanwa and Seimitsu parts? thanks.
my seimitsu ps-14-kn nuts get loose from maybe a day of heavy play, and you can actually pull the buttons up from the panel which get really annoying knowing that theyāre not fastened inā¦ i feel like iām tightening the nut enough, but i guess not. is there a snap-in button that looks like the PS-14-KN?
