cool beans, i got one of those. It doesnt need an s-shaped plate to get the proper depth? or is that just not an option
Ohhhhā¦I see. Thanks for that information jdm714! I didnāt know Seimitsu used a different plunger design on their PS-14-GX and GXN buttons.
There is not an S-shape Mounting Plate available for the Compact Joysticks.
But the Seimitsu LS-56(-01) would not need for correct Shaft height in TE.
That is because Shaft same length as Sanwa JLF from Mounting Plate to bottom of Ball Top.

You will get a Seimitsu button that has less tension and is way looser or lighter to push down.
On a side note, I just recieved my HRAP EX-SE and its the first time Iāve ever tried Seimitsu. I LOVE the PS-14-G buttons! My only issue is that they have way more tension then Sanwa, which I donāt mind at all, but I like the shape and the flatness of them so much.
And for the LS-32, man this stick is way more responsive/accurate/precise then the JLF in my opinion. The only thing that is wrong with it is that it feels really cheap and flimsy. Basically the microswitches and throw/engage of the LS-32 is perfect, but the quality is shitty as hell.
But with the JLF its the other way around. The quality is superb but the throw, engage and microswitches are subpar when put side by side with the LS-32.
I even had to change the stock Seimitsu balltop cause it felt horrible and you could feel the horizonās edge on it.
I canāt wait to mod the LS-32 with LS-40 shaft, actuator, shaftcover, and pivot cylinder.
LS-36(-01) as Ikagi-chan would call it.
I want to try it too.
I have a Seimitsu LS-32-01 that I never got to play with.
yea seimitsu r just the shit. with ls 32 im more precise. dashing is much easier than before. the buttons feel great and the sound they make is music 2 my ears.

Yes I love my seimitsu stick that came with my HRAP EX-SE. I just found out that the LS-32 stick will not fit on my HRAP 3 unless I mod it. I was directed to a site that showed/explained the mod but it was in japanese and I donāt read japanese. Can someone help me out or point me in the right direction? I need to know what additional parts Iāll need to buy besides the LS-32. Does anyone have a guide with pictures in english? How difficult will it be? I am trying to mod my HRAP 3 so that I can have both HORI sticks with seimitsu parts and leave my TE sticks alone.
Incase I am not able to mod my HRAP, will the LS-32 01 fit in the TE without any extra mods or mount?
Seimitsu LS-32-01 go in TE, nothing extra.
Hey, Iām new into looking at arcade sticks, since I usually played on a Pad, and I was wondering what arcade stick I should buy. I was looking on Amazon.com and I was wondering if I should buy the MadCatz TE stick or the Hori Real Arcade Pro. EX-SE. I was leaning more towards the Hori since itās cheaper. I have tried out both the TE and the Hori sticks, and even though I found that the TE seems more comfortable, the Hori wasnāt bad either, albeit sticky and a little large for buttons, but still really nice. I still need to break the bank as little as possible, but what do you guys suggest?
Iād suggest asking in the noobie thread. That question is off topic here. This is for frequently asked questions about Sanwa and Semitsu parts.
If you can spare a lil more, you might as well go TE since you said you find it more comfortable. I mean you can prolly get used to the EX-SE, and if money is really tightly pinched then so be it.
But Iām just sayinā. If you have nothing bad to say about the TE [in your post], then TE it is.
I am planning to changing the ball and buttons on my TE stick. Is the Sanwa OSBF 30 a perfect fit into my stick. If I am correct they are the same type of buttons the stick came with.
My purpose of changing anything is to match the new Artwork I am working on.

Yes, the Sanwa OBSF 30 are the buttons you need for the TE. Just make sure you get the OBSF (the snap ins) vs the OBSN (the screw ins) as the Sanwa screw ins donāt fit in the A button (for the 360) or the X button (for the PS3). The mounting plate for the joystick doesnāt allow Sanwa screw in buttons to fit in properly. This is not a problem for Seimitsu screw in buttons. Just a FYI.

negative ghost rider that pattern is full! I switched my sanwa OBSF30 for 6 PS14 KNās & i had 2 mod the mounting plate 2 fit

I thought Seimitsu screw ins fit without modding. Thatās what it said on the FAQ. But maybe I am wrong
Q: Can I use screw in buttons?
A: As a heads up Sanwa screw in nuts will not fit in easily around the X (PS3) / A (360) button due to the stick bracket blocking the way. However a Seimitsu yellow screw in nut will fasten a screw in button just fine.Just a heads up. This is due to the Vewlix panel not having a universal mounting plate to support an LS32. It is something we added on our own. We didnāt want to sacrifice the spacing/layout of the stick/buttons.
I reccommend you use snap in buttons, but if you wanna screw, take note!
Yea i found out the hard way cuz when i tried to take the square or the x, one of them, on TE it was a bitch. but once filing the mounting plate it was all good
What is the exact Sanwa Joystick that comes on the TE Fight Stick

Did you put in the nut first and then screw in the button? Iām just a little curious now. :wgrin:

Sanwa JLF-TP-8YT-SK-W. Itās in the Fightstick Thread.
i put the button on 1st then screwā¦
