Just installed my LS 32 01 into my se stick but I was curious of the necessity of the blue little attachment on the stick. it looks like its part of the gate but is this really necessary to have on the stick? the stick itself looks like its already a square gate and the blue part only seems to add a pointyness to the corners.
take it off if you want a square gate keep it if you want a octagonish gate
Is it okay that I use screw-ins on <4mm thick panels? Obviously it will fit but I wonder why everyone recommends the snap-ins for this. I ask this because I might make a custom box with a thicker panel in the future, so I can just transfer my buttons to that.
The sub guide actually interferes slightly with the main guide at the corners. Iād suggest just taking it off for 8-way play.
How far should sanwa buttons go down when you press them? My new obsf go a bit below the rim. Is this normal? My seimitsu dont go down below the rim, they go a bit above and it feels much nicer.
Rest easy Bush. Sanwa buttons are supposed to do that.
Cheers.
hi I just put in my first ls-32. It felt fine the first few hours, but then I noticed the stick felt a bit off. I found that saying pushing down on it initially it stops, but push it down harder and it can go down a few more millimeters. Has anyone had this issue? Sorry for sounding like a noob. First time repairing my hori ex.
Thatās completely normal for the LS-32. I guess itās a design flaw, but if you donāt ride the gate itās not a problem. Only really annoying for charge characters since youāll tend to jam down-back a lot. I call it ājumping the gateā since it hits the gate and goes a little extra.
Wonder if anyone ever modded their 32 to not do this anymore.
oh really? Yeah I was playing with sakura at first after i installed it. Then I was trying to learn how to play with chun li and eventually I noticed it. Thanks for the answer.
hello. i wanna mod my SE stick with new partsā¦
I have read any post, and i have any questions.
I wanna change Joystick and buttonsā¦
What do you think that is the best joystick for SE stick?
I wanna change at this time for a sanwa joystick, but I dont know the difference between JLF-TP-8YT and JLF-TP-8Y
Are both octagonal?
Do you know more websites for buy these parts?
Thx you
All Sanwa JLF, no matter the different names, come with Square Restrictor Gate stock.
All Sanwa JLF are the same; some just have different prefixes to show what is added on.
Here the six variations listed in Sanwa Catalog ('07~'08):
JLF-TP-8 is Base JLF.
JLF-TP-8Y is Base JLF with the TP-MA (PCB) rotated 90.
JLF-TP-8T is Base JLF with JLF-P-1 (Flat Mounting Plate).
JLF-TP-8YT is Base JLF with the TP-MA (PCB) rotated 90 with JLF-P-1 (Flat Mounting Plate).
JLF-TP-8S is Base JLF with the TP-MA (PCB) rotated 90 with JLF-P-1S (S Mounting Plate).
JLF-TP-8Y-SK is Base JLF with the TP-MA (PCB) rotated 90 with JLF-CD (Shaft Cover).
Of course other variations can be done too:
JLF-TP-8-SK, JLF-TP-8T-SK, JLF-TP-8S-SK, JLF-TP-8YT-SK.
Iāll just add this for completeness, since it is JLF:
JLF-TM-8 can do; JLF-TM-8T, JLF-TM-8T-SK, JLF-TM-8S, JLF-TM-8S-SK.
what websites do you know for buying sanwa parts?
I will prefer to buy in pounds (like UK sites etc).
I will buy JLF-TP-8YT , GT-Y (ortogonal restrictor) + 8 sanwa buttons.
Now, I only need more websites, and if i can buy a ācheap priceā better :D.
Only UK site I know is http://www.gremlinsolutions.co.uk/ site.
You know another?
What about Germany?
http://www.arcadeshop.de/ site.
I wish i could buy my stuff by the pound
websites that i know searching in other forums:
Thx for your info
instead of ozās
why did sanwa stop making clear buttons?
Sanwa did not make Clear Buttons.
They made Buttons with Clear Plunger though; Sanwa OBSC-30, OBSC-30RG.
Seimitsu make both Clear Buttons and Buttons with Clear Plunger.
Although their Clear Snap-in Buttons are discontinued.
But Clear Screw-in Buttons still available.
yeah those why did they stop production of those buttons
