I’m surprised that this thread is not posted as a sticky after all these years… I’m going to get this done.
I posted this in the SF4 fight stick thread but I guess this is a better place for it.
how long have you had those buttons?
I bought them around the time SF4 was released, but I haven’t used them very much since I kind of dropped of playing SF4. But I’ve now started playing some MvsC2 on Xbox Live and I noticed it when trying to call assists.
Hey, I was just wondering which Seimitsu snap-in (not screw) 30mm is the most preferred?
Whatever you can find available.
ps-14-k over ps-14-g for sure
I’m same with AJtheMishima.
They are so much cooler.
Seimitsu PS-15 are cute too.
I’m a PS-14-G man myself. I fell in love with the flat buttons on the PlayStation 1 Namco Arcade Stick and I screamed myself silly when I learned that Seimitsu PS-14-G buttons had a perfectly flat top to them. No convex or concave bullshit here. Just pure, uncultivated flatland. :bgrin:
Can OBSF microswitches fit into PS-14-Gs? If so, would they feel like sanwa’s (much more sensitive) but with a flat top?
oh yeah and what are the available colors of ps-14-g? is it the same as -gn or do they not make certain ones?
When talking about snap ins. But overall im a PS-14-GN© man. I cant play with the flatness of the G’s. I like my girls to have some curves, not down with the flat chested hoes!!!
So Sanwa JLFs and Seimitsu LS32s are what you’d commonly find in Japanese arcades right? Do any games cabinets use JLW stock? And what about extras like bat tops and different gates? Do those ever come stock in cabs?
The only available color difference between PS-14-G and PS-14-GN is white.
For some reason, Seimitsu does not make PS-14-G White.
There is PS-14-GN White though.
In fact, none of the round Snap-in Buttons of Seimitsu have all white.
But there are however, round Snap-in Buttons of White Plunger, Black Rim.
And about the Microswitch inside Button thing; read the big Post I typed up two pages back.
Oh well, I just link it.

It does not answer your question directly.
But hopefully you know what the answer is after reading.
Okay thanks!
I just got a bit confused reading it, as most of it is for PS-14-K and how SW-68 will fit perfectly, but the PS-14-G is listed as having a larger microswitch, so would the SW-68 be too loose if put in?
I knew you would ask me that.
Laugh.
I was too late with the Edit.
I was going to put this:
Which is just another way of me saying, "No, Sanwa SW-68 Microswitch will not fit in Seimitsu PS-14-G Button."
I was super hoping not needing to type that though.
So I guess you not interested in Sanwa RS-SG Microswitch?
Since you not mention of it.
You figure out what I typed about Sanwa RS-SG Microswitch in relation to Seimitsu Buttons?
Not many people understand my Post when I refer it to them for their questions.
Because they see that I type mostly about Seimitsu PS-14-K, and so they don’t think about anything else.
Yeah I already have OBSF buttons and was gonna see if I liked how they would feel in PS-14-G buttons so I don’t have any of the RS-SG switches.
Alright thanks again!
I have the exact same experience. Loved the buttons on the Namco stick and thus I was elated when I found out that Seimitsu made an even better plane button. I never liked the OBSF-30 buttons on my VSHG much, but the PS-14-G is just about perfect.
Hmm how do RS-SG microswitches feel like compared to SW-68 ones? I read that it wasn’t as sensitive, but is it nearly as resistant as P-14-G microswitches?

guess you answered the question there jdm, lol
anyone got experience with both rs-sg and ps-14-g though?
I have two Namco Arcade Sticks.
One stock, the other with PS-14-K.
Kept the Buttons because those Flat Yellow are cool.
Wish I can answer that for you silverwind.
But the only Seimitsu Buttons I have ever touched are PS-14-K.
