Tracer
sanwa snap fit to screw
sanwa not fit on seimitsu
2-way
Pros: Performs Sonic Booms or Flash Kicks effortlessly, but not both. This depends on the installation method. You want the stick movement aligned to vertical (up/down) for Flash Kickers, and horizontal (left/right) for Sonic Boomers.
Cons: Intermediate players may wish to perform both Sonic Booms and Flash Kicks, which can not be done without adjusting the stick.
4-way
Pros: Performs both Sonic Booms and Flash Kicks with no adjustment to the joystick needed. This is great for novice players who enjoy performing charge moves, or people having difficulty with Bisonās super/ultra in SFIV.
Cons: Advanced moves such as Fireballs or Dragon Punches may be very difficult or impossible to perform. When playing advanced opponents who use low attacks, blocking may be difficult or impossible.
8-way
Pros: The choice of the true professional fighting game player. Charge attacks require more focus to perform, but advanced attacks like jumping forward, Fireballs, and Dragon Punches may now be performed. Advanced opponents will have a difficult time getting through your low block without reverting to cheap tactics. Great for SFIV players looking to move up to Ken.
Cons: Being the most advanced stick layout, it may be difficult or confusing to use at first, but once mastered, 8-way is the most versatile setup for current fighting games.
Done!
Sorry that I havenāt been around to help answer questions as much as before. Busy busy off the forums with moving into my first home, wedding plans, work, etc. I will try to take some time to update the first page thoroughly with new information in the next couple of weeks. I know a lot of the links are broken and I will try to add some more tips/tricks that people ask frequently. Iām glad this thread is still helping people though!

Shinjnsrkās channel on youtube (on here to) is a great resource as well
very good thread thanks! will help in my modding process.
Does anyone have the measurement for the seimitsu s-mounting plate height of the red marked area in this pic:
Sorry to ask again, but how do Korean parts feel in comparison to Happ/Japanese parts? Iām unsure if the rubber is better than the spring, etc etc. Are the parts durable and responsive?
itās like a hair over .25" from top to bottom of LS-32 S-plate
Wtf, was this supposed to be sarcastic? I canāt believe you even had to post this. A quick google search, and/or common sense could tell you all this. Are their that many noobs now? It should have read some thing like this.
2 way: For Galaga, not fighting games or any other game that has controls that use all 8 directions, which would include Street Fighter IV.
4 way: for Pac Man, Puzzle Fighter, Tetris, Donkey Kong, not fighting games or any other game using 8 directions including Street Fighter IV.
8 way: The only way to actually be able to get any enjoyment out of fighting games including Street Fighter IV, because it is a game that uses 8 directions.
LOL at anyone I see online in a non blocking crouch in the same place, waiting for me to jump so they can Flash Kick. Or someone who is only backing up, jumping straight up and down, and eating any foward low attack because they canāt crouch block. Just so you noobs know, being able to throw sonic booms and flash kicks does you no good if you canāt properly block and jump. Keep that in mind when trying to decide if you should play Street Fighter with a 2 or 4 way restrictor used for games that only use 2 or 4 directions, which does not include any version of Street Fighter, ever.
Button resistance
Iām trying to find the resistance levels of the buttons. Is there a chart similar to the joysticks chart at http://www.kowal.itcom.pl/ArcadeParts_pliki/artZESen.htm .
I like the agetec buttons for the dreamcast. Trying to find buttons similar to those.
haha this is a bad joke
On the contrary, I thought it was great.
Is there a corresponding screw-in buttons for these color combinations? I canāt see any at LizardLick, does Akihabara have those color combinations in screw-in?
I have just received my first Seimitsu stick, itās a LS-32-01. But one of the microswitches sqeeks a little, is there anything I can do about this? Itās a really annoying sound.
Iām loving these seimetsu buttons I just got, now to get a new stick for my SE stick, and change the damned art.
Hi,
I ordered a blank box here that was drilled to fit a JLF as stock. Which Seimitsu could I order that would require the least modification to the box to fit (Iāve been looking at the LS-56/56-01 and the LS-32)?
Quick question -
Does anyone know if you can get a longer Sanwa JLF shaft (no homo)? I would not mind it being about 2 cm longer so that the balltop is higher up and closer to my thumb+forefinger.
I know it would change the throw a tad, but i could get used to it.
Do the JLF mounting plates sold at LizardLick come with nuts/screws?
I just completed making my first stick. There seems to be a possible issue with my joystick. I have an LS-32-01. Are these joysticks supposed to move up and down along the shaft? There seems to be some play in the joystick in the up and down directions (perpendicular to the face of the joystick). Itās weird blocking down and back as the the joystick will move down and left but also will move a little along the shaft. Can anyone tell me if this is normal or do I need to tighten something up? Thanks for any help.
