Hey all. Im gonna have to change my order from a JLF to LS-32-01, but I ordered an octagonal restrictor plate with the JLF. Ive been searching around but cant seem to find one for the LS-32 stick. Do they make them? Lizardlick and akihabara dont have any listed, as far as i can tell.
HRAP 1 Amazon Ed.
AkihabaraShop has some round guides for the LS-32 (not octo)
Joystick > Accessories
Scroll down and you will see
LS32-Main Guide Round - 100
and
LS32-Sub Guide Round - 210
Iâm not sure if you need the sub guide; hopefully someone else can answer that one.
iâm trying to order some obsnâs from akihabara but after u choose the color of the buttons u have to choose between n-30 and sw-68 and n-24 and sw-68. what the hell do i choose?
did some research. Looks like the only one Iâll be able to use is the Seimitsu LS-56-01 in my HRAP. Think I may just looks for a SE and put some seimitsu stuff in there. Thanks
IIRC, it uses the HRAP 1 Ver.B mounting bracket, which doesnât allow a LS-32 to be mounted without heavy modding.
so i have a question:
i ordered JLFâs with the GT-Y octo plates
now they are backordered and iâm wondering does the LS-32-01 have a octo plate
it seems like the only one that has it is the ls-56 but iâm not sure if it is compatible with the SE fight stick?
LS-32 only has a round gate. You can find them at akihabarashop in the joysticks > accessories section.
No, the ls-56 gate isnât compatible.
I was wonderingâŚwhy do Seimitsu and Sanwa keep using mechanical switches, wouldnât something based on photodiodes or magnetism be several times as effective and accurate and more importantly a lot faster?
Money. More cost effective to just make microswitches.
Iâm not sure Sanwa buttons need to be made any more faster or accurate. Are you having a problem with slow and inaccurate Sanwa buttons?
Well, not really (actually Sanwa buttons are pretty darn responsive) but I donât play money matches either. I wouldâve thought that people whoâre fine with tossing 300 US $'s on a stick wouldâve also looked into this kinda stuff to get some sort of advantage over their opponents;
I started wondering because Iâve been trying to mod a LS-32 for the Sensible Soccer World Cup which will take place in August in Germany and noticed that the âleafâ switches Seimitsu has implemented are a quite poor choice performances wise (even though I was told that Seimitsuâs are the best for games which require tiny accurate movements such as shmups), people playing with keyboards have likeâŚ2~ ms input delay at worst (and more importantly, basically no throw or engage distances to cover) while Iâm looking forward to a 4~5 ms delay, so I absolutely needed to do something about it, hence my interest in photodiodes and the likes.
I wonder if people would be interested in buying my microâs if I come up with something easily adaptable to Seimitsu sticks, twice as fast as the stock switches, with adjustable engage and close to none mechanical wear.
If the LS-32 isnât doing it for you, try the JLF Ultimate mod. Look for it on youtube. Itâs on akihabarashopâs account.
Take off the light blue square gate that is screwed into the bottom of your LS-32-01. Presto chango circle gate. I warn you though, this does increase the throw, but it is worth a try if you want that âOâ feel. I tried it and didnât like it, I have just been using the square so long.
Can anyone else feel a difference between a LS-32-01 and an LS-32? I have both, and to me, they feel slightly different. I know the only difference is supposed to be the 5 pin, but man they feel different. Maybe because of the material they are mounted in? My LS-32 is mounted in a wooden custom and my LS-32-01 is mounted on a metal plate. I thought it might just be the spring (my LS-32 spring is older/more worn)but when I swapped springs they still felt the exact same. To me, the LS-32 feels more sturdy, and it feels like I have a shorter throw. Am I crazy or can anyone tell a difference?
You only use the second drop down menu to choose parts from that item. N-30 is the orange nute and SW-68 is the microswitch. If you want the whole button, just choose the color and quantity. Leave the other drop down menu alone.

I bought an unmodded stock Hori Fighting Stick 3.
As I understand it has a square restrictor-plate.
If i wanted easier qcf and srk motions, should i change the restrictor plate, or increase the stiffness with a harder spring?
ack! You mean the Seimitsu joystick does not have the octogan plate? I am not real keen on the square feelâŚ
Practice. How long have to been using it? Should take no longer than a few weeks for those moves to become easy on a square.
I believe people can use the JLF octagon restrictor with it. Although it doesnât fit on without modification, you can drill some holes in the restrictor and use screws. Do a search for âjumpsuitâ heâs the guy who figured out how to do this simple but useful mod.
The LS-32âs do not have one, no.

I have an issue. I flushed one of my screws when I was trying to get the mounting plate off of my MadCatz SE Stick and now its stuck on there. But, I was thinking whatever not a big deal I got a Sanwa Mounting Plate for my JLF. Unfortunately, the screws from the MadCatz mounting plate donât fit that of the Sanwa Mounting Plate and I have no idea what size screw it is or what you would use to mount the JLF to the Sanwa Mounting Plate. Can anyone help me out?
