it looks like i would prefer the ls55 out of the 3 that that restrictor fits onto. my concern is that i was looking at that polish joystic comparison chart and the force to engage the ls55 is like 5 time more than the ls33 or 32. i currently have a happ comp and a jlf. i like the stiffness of the comp but i tried it with the stiffer spring and its way too hard. how does the ls55 compare to the happ? is it as stiff as the harder spring version? i am thinking the ls33 will be too light since its lighter than the jlf which is too light for me and its short. from the pictures it looks like that restrictor would fit on the ls40 but you would know better than me. i was also wondering which of the 3 seimitsus has the shortest engage? it appears to be the 33 from that video but im not sure. if you could recomend which has the shortest engage and has the spring tension closest to the happ comp? any help would be appreciated.
I am just goingto order all 3 of those seinitsues from you but I was wondering what that second drop down box is for. I know the first one is for the color of stick I want what is the second one? Do I need to select anything in there? Do the -01 models all come with harnesses or do I have to add those separately?
LS-55 vs HAPP Competition:
It is very strange to compare these joysticks because HAPPs are so big it is just a totally different feel. LS-55 is not 5 times stiffer than LS-33 or LS-32, that is an error.
And no you can not put this plate on the LS-40, sorry.
You would like either LS-32 or LS-56 I think, both are very nice.
All ā-01ā versions come with harness and you do not need to add anything separately.
Regarding the second drop down boxes they specify all parts for example a joysticks is made up of so you can buy individual parts if you just need that.
Look at this picture for example:
thanks for all your help. I feel like an ass asking basicaly the same question over again but why would you sugest the 56 over the 55. From what Iāve read the 56 is an earlier version of the 55 which to me would sugest its inferior. Also it looks like the mounting plate of the 56 is different than that of the 32,33& 55. Those are the 3 I was planning on ordering. But now that you sugestes the 56 over the 55 I am wondering why?
Nothing wrong with asking ^_^.
I just like the feeling of the LS-56 so it is my personal preference but LS-55 is also nice.
Regarding the mountingplate, you can order the same mountingplate that LS-55 uses for the LS-56, just check the second list box on LS-56 and choose ā#14 Base MSā and you can just swap it out if you want (Seimitsu does only sell the LS-56 with the small mountingplate).
how do you top mount a jlf to get it to the āproperā 23-24 mm height, do you just route it out deeper or is there a better way? the shafts 34mm from the top of the mounting plate right
Just got two OBSF-24, installed them and found that one of them is to the far right (Not in the center) and when i press it, it doesnāt feel like the other one, is there any way to fix it or should i forget about it?
How exactly would I swap my sanwa spring out for a seimitsu one? I heard something about an E-Ring.
And also what is the process of swapping out the seimitsu button microswitches out for sanwa ones?

I asked him through email if you could swap Seimitsu microswitches with Sanwas and his answer was no.
IIRC, I believe you can only fit Sanwa microswitches on PS-14-K, PS-14-P, and PS-14-D/DN buttons since the switches are the same size. PS-14-G, PS-14-KN, and PS-14-GN donāt work since they use larger switches. All you have to do is take out the plunger, pop out the microswitch, pop in sanwa switch, then pop the plunger back on. Very simple process.
Very Very Very good post. Very informative and helpful.
Iām making fome plexis for t5s and hraps. I wanted to know whatās the distance of the mounting holes for JLF joysticks and I guess Seimitsu LSās. Would be really appreciated, Thanks.
Can a LS-32-01 fit in an agetec?
^
It will, but the mounting height will be too low (unless itās mounted directly to the faceplate).
Sticks that will mount at the correct height: LS-55, LS-56, JLF.
I believe that the info you are looking for can be found here at slagcoinās website
k, already had that site but didnāt know that. Thanks
I just did the medium spring mod and it seems not to make a difference if you have a 45mm but it feels nice if you have a regular sized ball. Iām going to get rid of the sanwa spring because its too loose and just use LS-32 spring x2
Can you take apart Sanwa buttons? I think I accidentally got a few metal shavings stuck in the plunger which is making them feel slightly mushy.
Another Sanwa question that I forgot to ask. Does anyone with a JLF ever miss diagonals? With a square gate on my JLF, I seem to miss corners a lot if I go from back to down, almost as if the gate is a little too thick on all sides, just barely missing contact with diagonals.
Will an LS-33 fit inside a namco stick without modification?
