So… can I finally try this game now? And shoutouts to early xbox tech for all DLC characters, this shall make early DLC tournaments stupidly interesting.

I think her lk tatsu is -3 on block, it’s unsafe to Ryu’s reversal dp, I tested it in training mode earlier.
Man that sucks. Plus it has a lot of start up.
Yeah that pretty much means she has none of the pressure she had in SF4. I feel like without that she’s going to be a very weak character.
She seems fairly different. Poked around in training for 5 minutes and it looks like Capcom made adjustments to hitboxes/pushback on st. and cr. jab, forward j.hp and cr. hp. Seems like lk tatsu has more startup? Does that mean cl. fierce has more hitstun?
I’m not sure if lk tatsu has more start up but it’s certainly unsafe on block. Her cr. hp is also significantly worse.
What she does have going for her is her cr.mk st.hk chain and tag cancel options (hp/ex shouken on block).
She’s gonna play closer to her alpha incarnation rather than SFIV.
This, I like her but I definitely need to beat into my head that this is not SF4.
Anyone played with EX.tatsu > switch cancel combos yet?
Heck, you don’t even need EX tatsu for switch combos (truth be told, I feel using it in that manner is a waste of meter, unless of course you’re going for some crazy style points with your partner). You can use any Tatsu and it’ll create some pretty practical juggle hand offs, especially midscreen. Shouoken can be used to, but since it knocks the opponent away quite a distance you gotta either move or dash forwards with your partner to catch up to them. Good thing for Lili and Chun this isn’t a problem at all (feels so good hitting HP Shouo (tag Lili) -> (Fiesty Rabbit) Rabbit Thorn for dat wall bounce into your juggle combo of choice. Goes great damage for 1 bar too.
I’ve played Ken/Nina with the expectation of swapping out Ken for Sak for awhile now, I think Nina’s cr.hp should move her forward enough after h.shou, but I’m also pretty accustomed to being able to h.tatsu xx switch and get a j.hk in to start Nina’s string, I’m guessing I can’t do that and will have to work a juggle out instead, maybe cr.mk xx geysers.
I did a bit of frame data testing in training mode, her data seems almost identical to AE, I did the important normals first

cr.lp = 3f
cr.lk = 3f
cl.hp = 3f
cr.hp = 4f
cr.mk = 5f
cr.hk = 7f
st.hk = 10f
cr.mp = 6f (the only change I noticed from AE data, I tried to punish Law’s medium FFR which is -5 and I couldn’t get a punish at all while I could with cr.mk, if anyone likes to try it, they can do so, it just feels weird that this could be changed)
I’ll test the rest of her normals tomorrow, there may be a mistake there, but I’m confident that those are correct, I tested by (for example) using Bob’s mk mk chain which is -10 on block, and then if I’m able to punish him with st.hk, I move down to a -9 move which is Bob’s st.mk st.hp chain, and if I can’t punish, then I establish the move is 10f.
There may be changes in active frames and recovery frames, I can’t really test those.

Off of EXtatsu, the most damaging follow-up I found:

You can do a similar follow-up off a raw otoshi you just have to do a njHK and slightly walk forward before doing the sHP

Sakura’s intro art is so cute <3 however her other character art is kinda crappy then again most of them aren’t great either. Her face is kinda messed up and her “pandora face” behind just looks stupid.
BTW if anyone is wondering her “panty” colour is the same as her under-shirt
I just find it funny that after about 4 months of this game collecting dust at my house because I just wasn’t up to dealing with all the crap that was in SFxT, but ever since Sakura came out on the 31st, I’ve been playing nothing BUT SFxT. Like someone mentioned in a general thread, all these changes makes the game have this weird new day-1 feel for me (sorta like how SSFIV did for Vanilla SF4). Plus it seems all the real interesting characters were all those 12 characters to me (…well, not Blanka, screw him). I know the game isn’t the greatest, but I’m starting to feel it now, and it’s back to being fun again. Guess having your favorite character finally be available goes a long way.
Now if only she wasn’t complete trash.
