Hey CSUS students that play UMVC3 - there’s a free tournament in the CSUS Games Room on the 24th of this month. I’m not affiliated with it at all and I haven’t heard or seen concrete details other than the date, but hey - free tourney! It’s open to CSUS students only and you have to register here.

Hahaha yeah that was a Super SF4 tourney, he bodied me in GF pretty bad lol. And I miss my long hair…
As for details on the CSUS tourney, it should be double-elim and i’m pretty sure its sac state students only (make sure to bring your one card), and registration can be done on the CSUS games room website anytime up to midnight the night before. That’s how they’ve always been done while I was there, but double check just to make sure.
Also, good luck at the tourney, Romeo! Get them pad skills up, early rounds are usually pad and then you have the option later to play on HRAP V3-SA’s

A lot of ppl on my Tumblr watch that show, but I couldn’t get into it.
Also, I don’t watch as much tv anymore. The only shows I watch are Tosh.0, Workaholics, and The Walking Dead.
Why don’t we see those Sac State players come to the Tapioca or Capitol tournaments?

I’m sure there are lots of reasons for group x not showing up to tourney x, but I can tell you that some of the people I see watching Marvel videos or streams at CSUS do show up to the TapEx tourneys. Jason and Anson came to Tinh’s this week and have showed up to a few of my TapExs.
Don’t forget that when a new game / version drops, casuals come out of the woodwork for like one or two tournaments and usually don’t come back. This seems to happen with new tournaments/venues in our area as well.
Hopefully we’ll get a big number for when SFxT drops, but it’ll prob be like that for maybe one or two tournies then it’s back to original number.

Usually whenever someone posts about it. Nasty has one like once a week or one every few days. It varies. Most likely Nasty will post about it so subscribe to this thread.
