That was fucked up…a snack break during a fight, and a monk basically going “oh, fuck my dietary principles, I’m eating that”.
We watched the first one in one of my gathering in the big screen but too many people messing around, it look pretty good but forgot all about this. New one looks good to.

Yes from what i heard but I don’t know if that is true now due to the trailer.
Everyone needs to watch the trailer i posted, that last scene was something they should have done in the anime.
They really couldn’t do that in the anime/manga given the circumstances.

Sanosuke was pretty beat up with his fight with Anji and can’t even compete with Shishio, which is why he got owned pretty quickly. Saito went for a sneak attack, which would’ve work if it wasn’t for the metal headband so can’t really fault his strategy. Aoshi was pretty beat up after his fight with Kenshin and didn’t show up until everyone else lost to Shishio. By the time everyone got their second wind the fight was approaching Shishio’s 10 minute mark so it didn’t really matter.
In any case, I fully expect that scene to look like ass in the movie. I appreciate the costume work for the movies but the first movie was mediocre and I’m not really expecting much from the 2nd and 3rd movies. I’ll still watch them because I liked the manga/anime.
Just saw the Sequel and it is godlike awesome. Even people who never watched the anime loved it and thought Shishio was purely evil. I hope it reaches the USA soon because it is one of the best movies i’ve watched in a long time; I enjoyed it more than Guardians of the Galaxy to be honest.

^ You will love the last fight. Seeing all four (Kenshin, Aoshi, Saito, and Sano) ganging up on shishio was just insane.
Damn still haven’t caught the first one. Heard the movies had good choreography.
Just saw it. It was a great movie… I loved Aoishi and Saito, they just made the movie so cool. The Choreography is awesome, the story is awesome, the acting is awesome. The adaptation is a solid 5/5 (same with the very first movie), probably the best live adaptation of an old series of the 90’s for me. I hope i will get to watch it again in the USA. USA should be showing these movies.
