Oh Lainy I was gonna ask you. That since you play KOF do you think that Viper’s style and her execution is a lot like a KOF character? I mean Viper is very unique to the Street Fighter system. She truly is an original. I also think she is like a 3S character in a way she requires precise execution lol.

Viper’s kinda like KoF characters in that she gets a burst damage whenever she lands combos, and also in that she has very little footsie games. Very special-move oriented, which is much like KoF. Also, seeing how her defense is shit and her rushdown game is what gets her the upper hand also shows that she’s designed to luring KoF players to come play SF.
How her only pressure-stop move is an uppercut is also another indication. Her parry is kinda like rolling for KoF (dodges for a certain amount of time, vulnerable at the end), the fact that she has almost no real links is also like KoF (everything’s cancel/chain based). Execution heavy? Not for KoF players. Watch Mr.KoF play and be amazed at what you have to do in that game to win. -_-

I want to use her but going from Ryu to Viper might be too epic for me. But she seems like a character you’ll never get bored with. Ryu is boring. It’s the same thing all the time.

You should definitely pick up a new character Don, it will breathe some new life into the game.
Plus, you have a ton of good players coming right to your home turf! You’ll level it up in no time.
I flat-out suck, Marn thinks too highly of himself. He has the execution, but he hella lacks mindgames. I lack both. Neither of us are good Vipers. The only two Vipers that I hella respect are Uryo and Flash. Sanford, maybe.

But learning Viper is probably the Street Fighter equivalent of hitting the gym all the time. So much work and so little progress. But this should all go without saying. We all play Street Fighter seriously we all should be automatically committed.
Btw are you going to test that Bison at So Cal regionals? So Cal regionals is in our neighborhood kinda. You should.
I’m kind of sick of playing Bison after so many jumped onto him when Super came out. I like Bison’s toolset but I was also drawn to him because there weren’t a lot of people using him. I know it’s like reverse tier-whoring, but still.
I don’t know if I’ll hit Socal Regionals or not. I’m not that confident in my game right now, and I don’t feel like my Bison is solid enough now that everyone knows his tricks…
…but people STILL throw fireballs when I have U2. Hmm…

Does anyone here play Majongg? I don’t play but I got my hands on a mahjongg set.
I have a question because I don’t play. Well my question is. Does the color of the back (The side without the characters) of a Mahjongg tile even matter? Does it have to be a specific color like green or blue? The one I have is all white on the back.

Ah man it would be perfect if I had it tonight huh? All the ppl hyped up for SCR and a lot of ppl coming into town. I wish I could do it. It would sound like it would be a lot of fun tonight (sigh).
Sadly I have to go to my cousin’s wedding tomorrow lol. I got to get some clothes today and I don’t think I could stay up till 5am tonight.
I wish I could do it. Probably everyone would go today. Next week everyone would probably be burnt out from SCR. We’ll see what happens.
