There’s no way to combo regular Mary’s S-power. Mary’s P-power is a command throw so it’s combable only after an opponent’s roll recover and that sucks because you need to change plain first of the opponent, also an expert player doesn’t roll recover against a character who has a dangerous command throw

and yes not even Capcom can sniff at Madden and Halo etc…thats where the real money is at…but we ain’t playing for the money…we are doing what we LIKE…
For me SNK has always been my niche…
So SNK is trying to adapt with the new graphics etc…but people pass on the older jewels until like now…11 years after RBS’s release to learn it new…

with these new anthologies and compilations I think it will breathe new vigor into snk fighting games.
KoF XI arranged mode might fix some glitches, such as unblockables, but it changes the base of the game TOO much. The whole juggle system got an overhaul in arranged mode. Moves got changed (priority…no new moves). Really, the arrange version plays more like older KoFs then the newer ones. And that is a problem if you bought KoF XI because you wanted to play KoF XI.
Thats what I’m hoping as I hope it will show in the level of play increase through time as well as the number on tournament entrants I am seeing for my tournaments…

So its safe to assume that most of you learned how to play kofxi on console and watching youtube vids of japanese players. Fuck learning how to play the fixed console version of kofxi! I’ve been x-copying japanese vids for my skills and its to hard to learn how to play the game the wAy the programers meant for kofxi to be played!! Thank you for proving my points sir.
Your point was FAR from proven. I’m telling you that KoF XI Arranged is a completely different game than Arcade. If Arranged is how the programmers wanted it, but they got Arcade instead; SNK has the worst piece-of-shit programmers ever.

I dont even like playing Mai in RB2…shes okay…I can do some of my target comboes but damn it aint even close to the same…you cant defend against Mai in RBS like Josh says in RB2 to keep Line Shifting against her…
That shit won’t work…you’ll eat some of the most potent line shifts in the game up close hands down.
Darkshine- A big difference between RBS and RB2 is that in RBS everyone is either S+, S-, A or bottom tier (1 to 2 people). There are other differences but that’s one big difference.
You have to realize that most arcade games aren’t play tested enough. Lately games have been play test more, but usually they only test the game for 2 months and release it world wide in the arcade. Look at arcana hearts when it 1st came out it was full of bugs and after 6-7 months of arcade play they released AH fuLL version. No one is perfect, but most of the time they get it wrong the 1st time and they correct the flaws in the console version. The funny thing is some of the programers are not changing the games anymore for the home version or the put in the option to play the arcade version instead of the new version because you may not like the upgrades to the game. I’m so surprized how long they are play testing sf2st:HD. It has been atleast 6 months of testing. SF4 is getting a lot of testing, but its only been 3 months of play testing done I think.

I don’t think he has the full grasp of mai yet. He played better with regular andy and really didn’t have any idea how to play ex andy. I’m glad people are playing rbs now. Hopefully its not a fad and rbs turns into one of snk staple tournament games.
We can only hope it will generate interest in snk games. People tend to glance over games that are 14.99-19.99. This 2df online service is great for the snk community imo. Now there’s a place for people to gather and test their skills instead of typing about their skills! I’m always down to help anyone learn rbs online or in person if you live near me. I’ve taught several people the basics of characters on 2df. I would rather show someone how to play online then to type how to play in a thread.

RBS should turn into a staple SNK game…as I’ve told Josh anytime we have time for tournaments RBS is getting run!!! I’m gonna do my part to push RBS startin at MWC now…and I will take RBS Money Matches should we have time at MWC!

Oh yea, regular blue mary is better than her ex version imo. Both are great, but reg mary has one of the best dp’s in rbs. Ex mary dp is a special grab like hugo’s dp in 3S. So its easier to jump at her imo. Reg mary also has a crackshot just like terry and once you master using counters she is deadly!
