if there’s a header, there’s a wire. Just use the wires from the panel coming down to the main pcb
you’re replacing the stock pcb right? no need to solder or keep it especially if you’re using a neutrik
no, im getting the ps3/ps4 only board, so to keep 360 functionality i would dual mod it with my razer pcb.
I know it will probably never use it on a 360 again, or i could just get the universal board, but just i cant help myself, i want to dual mod.
Plus the ps4 only board is available from shops in europe, while the universal board requires importing from outside the EU
ok so yeah, solder everything under the pcb. ez
Anyone know the resistor needed on the line before the rotating LED? I’m putting in a Brook and a don’t want a repeat of the burnt LEDs that happened to folks a couple of years ago running too large of a current.
if you’re doubtful, use a resistor anyway
if you use a 100ohm and it’s super dim, remove or use a lower one.
Man, I’d probably prefer it a little bit dimmer anyway. So 100 ohm works as a starting point. Thanks.
Anyone still have this image?
EDIT: nm found it
Does anyone have a pinout of the Xbone Atrox’s Turbo board? Wanna wire up the Guide button, Guide button LED and lock switch for Start, Select and Guide. I have yet to get a multimeter (its on my todo list I swear!) and I don’t wanna risk wiring things to the PS360+ at random. I also need to know where the Razer button LED’s 3 wires go (they’re all the same colour, it’s hard to tell D: )
Edit: Alright, got ground for the entire board, ground for the home button and signal for the home button by following traces on the turbo board, and I have an idea of where to solder my start and select ground to lock those as well. All that’s left is the Guide LED (not sure which end goes to ground and which goes to VCC) and the Razer LED’s 3 mystery wires. Also not sure if I need inline resistors for any of the LED VCC lines. I think I need one for the Razer button (100 ohms?) but idk about the guide LED.
Apparently they’re developing a PS4 stick, not that anyone would want it after the FR19 fiasco.
I believe it when I get that sales circular from Best Buy advertising it.
Razer been completly ignoring the PlayStation for a while now
Razer will release a PS4 stick, they’ve just fucked up its sales figures though.
Whoever thought it was a good idea to test a prototype board in a large tournament should be sacked.
I don’t get why a licensed Sony product , even a prototype to the licensed product would have such issues, but this is Razer here.
And this is far from the first time a professional player in the FGC pulled something shady. And in the FGC excuses are abound.
…which implies that it isn’t Sony licensed.
The Brook PS4 fightboard isn’t an officially licensed product, yet it works better than the razor
Looks like someone forgot to update their firmware on Infiltrations stick. Were the issues with fuudo’s and xian’s stick the same? ie. 8 minute timeout?
But I have to agree, whoever thought it’d be a good idea to use a “prototype” at a premier event should be sacked.
Lol too late razer. I just dual modded my atrox B)
While I have a new TE2+ for SF5. I wanted to update my Atrox XB1 stick as well for friends and my kids to use. For now I put in the Brook PS3/4 Fight Board as I wanted to get a feel for getting it installed because I’m going to build and mod a few sticks for our local FGC guys. Next week Ill be swapping it out for the Brook UFB to make it fully universal. Special thanks to @Vicko for the generosity with his time via email on advice for this project. When I install the UFB Ill be cleaning up the wiring a little more. Props to @jmanDMC Focus Attack version of the Brook breakout board.
Getting ready

Testing connections

Soldered in 5 pin for USB

PCB mounted on stand offs

All done

Hmm wat are those 2 (caps?) things soldered to brook pcb?
Thats a good question. I can check them out when I get home. The board kit comes like that from Focus Attack, I dint add them.
