The Razer has a common ground pcb, making dual mods easier. You will need the te2 crossbone and a ps4 pcb to dual mod your te2. Since you already have the te2, I would just mod it.
i guess i just dont like the way they put those pcb in the case. i like the screws
Hey guys,
After getting my Atrox I wanted to try it with a Hori Hayabusa. After a little while I decided to go back to the JLF. I installed it back into the Atrox and it seems like the joystick shaft is super short. Am I missing something? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Finally! Iāve been waiting forever to get rid of my button plugs!
Here is my finished Atrox 360 / Fighting Commander 4 dual mod. I guess it is technically a tri-mod because the FC4 can do PS3
I moved the main PCB over and put in a neutrik USB and wired the D+/D- to a DPDT switch to choose which board. I prefer a regular USB-B to the proprietary Atrox cable.
Props to Atrox for the exposing pins for every input, I didnāt solder a single wire to the Atrox PCB, I just used the headers. Also I really like the honeycomb. Fantastic stick for Modding.
just wondering if the xbox one atrox is modded like to 360 and ps3???
What?
No.
is Xbox one version still had issue for the pc? or Microsoft had a driver for now? and how does the input lag?
i had only option is razer atrox Xbox one version in turkey there is no arcade stick on the store or net in turkey iām playing via steam usf4
wanna buy a stick but need to correct that is working with my pc
The triggers still donāt work for the xbone version, last I checked (a few weeks ago).
The trigger issue is not a problem with Razer but with the MS drivers which were only intended for MS brand Xbox One controllers.
Mad Catz and Hori Xbone sticks have the same issues on PC. MS is not going to fix it nor do they have any attention to do so.
Can we mod it to make it work with right like crossbone ext. something
Well no Arcade or Fighting game will need all 8 buttons.
You donāt need 3 X Punch and 3 X Kick, as they are just all 3 punches or kicks.
That was intended for Game pad players who otherwise canāt hit all 3 Punch or Kick buttons at once.
You can swap wiring as the last two buttons are the ones that are non functional. Many people here will take out the last 2 buttons and put in button plugs.
Another solution is ether a PCB swap or a dual-mod, including a PCB that would work fine on your PC.
So what is RZR Xian going to use at Evo? He is clearly a top contender, Razer might have to make a PS4 stick for that reason alone.
A dual modded Atrox : p
Honestly, kinds worried about Razerās future with sticks and fighting games. Sometime last year, one of my contacts in the company, who was also one of the guys who pushed alot for the Atrox left. That actually cut alot of support that they were doing for the FGC (the lack of any big Razer afterparty at SEAM was the most visible one).
Damn. I really like the Atrox, I hope it sticks around.
@d3v - The xbone Atrox seems a bit oddly handled to me, as well. I got my 360 Atrox in part because I saw a lot going on in this very thread keeping tabs on PC compatibility, and it seems unfortunate that they werenāt able to work with microsoft on figuring out some sort of solution regarding trigger inputs for the new model. The fact that the 360 version didnāt need a razer driver was cool, but I would totally install another driver on my computer to have a fully working peripheral. Iām sure their hands are tied for whatever reason, but it is still unfortunate.
At least we only need six buttons to work, I guess.
its not that Razer is or is not able to work with Microsoft.
For all the stick manufacturers (except those grey market manufacturers like Qanba), they only offer support for the systems that stick (or controller) was intended for.
if Razer (or Mad Catz, Hori , ect) made a stick (or any controller) for the Xbox One, they only will help and support those people who trying to get the stick to work on Xbox One and not the PC.
This is a licensing issue with the manufacturer, they canāt do a Xbone and PC controller because Microsoft would not let them.
Microsoft Xbox One game pad drivers are only intended for Microsoft brand Xbox One controllers. if a 3rd party pad is not working Microsoft will tell you itās the manufacturers problem and not theirs.
There been the same issue with Microsoft with Linksys Routers on the OG Xbox and Xbox 360 in the past (the console not compliant with cisco hardware)
It just straight up Microsoftās fault, Razer is just bound to their sales and licensing agreements.
I guess what I mean to say is that the 360 Atrox was touted by Razer people as being extremely PC friendly out of the box. Itās even in the FAQ on their page. It was pretty refreshing to see that sort of thing outright, last generation, and Iām not sure what they did differently last time in their dealings with Microsoft to make that happen.
