The Razer Arcade Stick Thread!

Yes the Razer logo is supposed to pulse when you turn your console on

i’m on PC. Nothing is blinking. Anyone on pc?

The LED should light up on PC.

oki, amazon will replacd it. No light up on pc for me. We will see with the next stick. I will receive it tomorrow. Do you have some ā€œartā€ for this stick d3v?

Thanks for your answer.

It’s the point marked ā€œGuā€ in the first diagram, near the bottom-right corner.

So a friend soldered up cerberus to atrox everything works apart from the guide button. Unsure why it’s not working since it’s soldered to the Gu as shown in the diagram. Could some one take a pic of their guide button soldered? Also, do you need to solder another ground point maybe?

Hello, I was wondering if anybody happens to know if i can plug in the headset jack cable in the Atrox to the audio connecter on my ps360? i have done it with other sticks, but since there is a led as well I did not want to mess things up.

Is there any practical tutorial for replacing / inserting a PS360+ on this stick? Thanks in advance

I think it should be rather easy, but you would probably have to replace the pass through as well as how the buttons connect. Is it possible to splice the wires out to a ps360+ and fundamentally use it as a pass through?

You might as well just cut out the connectors and re-screw them into the screw terminals. i don’t know the pinout for the new versions of the aatrox so I can’t help you there. You’d also have the problem with the detachable connector since that is mounted permanently to the original PCB if you went down that path.

@mr.mortified what is the best way to go about dual modding it then? I don’t have much experience dual modding so this would be my learning experience xD

Let me break it down for you like this.

For the buttons, take note what wire goes to what button. Do what you have to, so you can well what wire goes where. Write notes, take photos , make marks ect.
Next, the Joystick refer to the Sanwa/Seimitsu joystick harness wiring guide.

Now with your PS360+ PCB. All the inputs and ground terminals are labeled on the board.
Keep in mind the PCB is Labeled in Street Fighter Notation.

SF notation
P1 P2 P3 P4
K1 K2 K3 K4

which corresponds to PlayStation button labels as
Square, Triangle, R1, L1
X, Circle, R2, L2

And Xbox button labels
X Y RB LB
A B RT LT

To use the guide button you have to solder, but the PS360+ supports S+S=H function if soldering isn’t your thing.

The Only thing I can’t walk you though is the replacement of the USB out port.
You can drill and install a panel mount USB port, or try to situate the PS360+ PCB so the USB port lines up with the sticks opening.

It will take some force but the PS360+ PCB can be screw mounted to the bottom of the Razer stick.

Make sure you read this

Can you help me on this? What exactly I have to do? Sorry to ask  I have 0 experience with brand sticks, I make custom ones but 0 experience with TE’s and the like. Do you have any pictures for this?

Thanks in advance

For the PS360+ it supports the function that holding Start and Select at the same time will activate the Home/guide button.
This is meant for stick that wiring the home button is too hard, impractical or unable to do so.

sakul if you’re not concerned with keeping the original PCB can’t you just take the wire harness going from the turbo panel since its in there as well?
Just take the wire signal from there and you could take the player lights signal as well

the pinouts for the board are on the previous page but here it is as well

So in other words
If you want to install a PS360+ and don’t want to deal with the original Razer PCB, you can take the wire harnesses, cut them up and put them in the screw down terminals. The only signals you’d have to solder for is if you want the player light LED’s

Nice to know! but how about soldering? I can solder pretty well

Thanks @mr.mortified and @Darksakulā€Œ. I might buy one and give it a go. If I do I’ll post pictures!

Does anyone know what make/model the stick portion of the Atrox is? I thought it was a JLF, but I bought a JLF link and it doesn’t fit :’(

Just bought mine as well, and I’m pretty impressed with it, such a nice work overall. I’ll try to put a PS360+ on it. The only thing that I need to know is not losing the Home button from the turbo pannel. That S+S= Home sounds great, but I would like to have the Home button as functional

The Atrox does use a Sanwa JLF.

My question is did you get the Sanwa JLF or the Seimitsu LS-32 version of the link?
