The Razer Arcade Stick Thread!

It’s using a USB B connector fitted to a specially shaped plug that makes it seat pretty securely on the stick body.

Working from home today and the mailman came with a neat surprise! Took pictures of everything. Can I even post them? I don’t even know.

Time to give it some love.

I’m almost done with a stealth mod in my razor stick. You wouldn’t be able to tell it was dual modded or not by just looking inside. Even if you took off the top cover of the black box all you will see is two little white wires.

Dual modded with a cut down Cerberus pcb. I even bothered to wire up the ls/dp/rs switch and player leds for the ps3 side.

Love it gummo! Looks like I need to get a cerebus!

Woot, got mine in today.

Has anyone tested the USB polling interval the stick is on?

It’s licensed, so I’d expect 4ms

As of at the moment, the two members here in Toronto are waiting for ours. Beautiful mod Gummo, looks like I’m gonna request the help of mr.mortified to do a stealth mod with the Cerberus kit as well

Aaaand not only did the mailman come late, but he didnt deliver the goods… I guess tomorrow? ;/

Is it possible to put a Myoungshin Fanta stick in there?? I would be awesome to have more options for K-stick users!!

I’m not a big fan of having the USB connected directly to the PCB. Hopefully they come up with an alternate design in that respect.

Totally reminds me of hitboxes tbh. Their new way of mounting using the onboard usb jack which is actually flimsy and can break off with repeated and prolonged use

Yeah, I addressed that in my notes, which I’ve submitted about three pages of so far. >.>

Hey, does anyone else’s stick creak or pop when you lean on it? It seems like the right side of the top panel isn’t exactly in all the way.

The usb design is still better than the hitboxes.

People who can’t do the resister removal trick can just place the chimp against the wall and place the 360 pcb elsewhere in the case.

Agree.

I’d probably bounce that PCB out anyway and roll with a PS360+, and mount a Neutrik.

…that said, I still really like what Gummo did! Kept it stealth and untouched looking.

I’ve already told them about this. The plexi isn’t cut right and is a bit too big. Mine actually doesn’t sit flush and would cut into my palm. I had to take it out and readjust how it was seated so now the part that faces away from isn’t flush.

On a related note, there’s space to the left of the PCB box that’s just about the right size for drilling a hole for an ethernet jack.

I’m just going to drill the whole where the USB jack is and then move the pcb assembly down some.

And my initial impressions are up:

You’re going to have to get a custom top panel for it to fit, just like in a TE.

Is there going to be a sticker or something on the pcb shell in the final version so they know if you voided your warranty by opening it?
