Might be wierd, but how was his walkspeed? Back and forward.
Both felt pretty standard. Considering how grabs are useless in the game and I didn’t know his command overhead, it was harder for me to notice, however I was playing him alongside Yoshi (who has a painfully slow walkspeed) and he was much faster both back and forward in comparison. I doubt his speed will be comparable to say Akuma when he gets announced though
Also, I’m unsure if this is a Tekken characters-only thing (I didn’t play any SF characters) but tapping forward multiple times makes him (and Yoshi) shuffle forward as they would in Tekken. I noticed this while I was dashing up from full screen to punish a whiffed super
has anyone used him in the latest build? is he still an offensive monster?

I have been kinda sleeping on this game, so sorry if this sounds stupid, but does anyone know if Raven has a dash where he can dash under stuff like for example Kazuya? Seeing as he has a crouch dash in Tekken that can even crush certain mids if used correctly.
That would be nice if they had both of his dashes, but 1 requires sidestep which is not in this game, the other d,d/f dash would be cool but he doesnt have the same mixup game from Tekken so, idk.
I was wondering more if he could dash under projectiles and less about the actual moves coming out of it, since i think that it would be less useful in SF x T than it is in T6.
Also, i hope that they give him his undertaker throw from the tekken series, is just too good not to give him.

Raven seems to be a very mix up oriented character. Also that 3 kick by yoshimitsu has some serious hit stun
I was re-watching some of the Finger Cramp X Capcom stream, I saw Raven juggling off an EX Shuriken. Pretty sweet. His Wind Cross move seems like it can cross up on the ground too, as Raven kinda slashes through them when they block, kinda like Vergil’s Rapid Slash in UMvC3.
It does. I believe the :hp: version you have to block left than right or vice versa depending on which side you are

Man, one of Raven’s target combo’s (looks like his 3, 3, 4 from Tekken 5/6 IIRC) floor bounces. I’ve seen pieces of it in the past but now that I’ve seen it legit it looks really awesome.
