It’s really hard to hit confirm because my TV is so bad I usually use sound as recognition as hit confirms. Also when people jump in on me I hit my anti-airs and they don’t come out. Online is really bad right now. I’ve played through a lot of matches just to get these videos. I’m fairly new to the 2D fighting scene so I’d say I’m doing good so far. Also stop doing cr.hp xx mk alter ego, cl.hp xx lk alter ego does more damage. As a blockstring it’s decent if unsafe because it’s a low then high that combos on hit. No reason to do it in combos really.
Online IS awful overall, but we can only judge based on the footage you provide, and your opponents are awful.
With Ryu stop doing jabs in hit-confirms, just use cr.mp unless you really need to start off a low.

I was using his cross wind (both hits) and tagging in and it was messing people up because my partner would run in from the other side.
Anyone have any tips for dealing with being cornered? I haven’t found a reliable anti air with Raven and only seem to struggle if I get cornered.
P.S. - Bonus points if it’s in a video of a ranked match where you get a perfect.

There is no need to defend yourself. People are always going to try and shoot down others. I think you sorta brought it on yourself by calling your video AMAZING. 
Truth be told though the teleport mix ups are good. I was able to start predicting your TK backwards FB into TP every time but its still pressure people have to deal with. I think you played good. The only comment I will say to help you (not to criticize) is that pretty much 100% of everything you did can be blocked standing. I dont think I saw a single low.
Veserius, on the level up stream I saw you use cr.mk to go under a fireball. It made me wonder whether you can use cr.mk to make jump-ins/crossups whiff (like Ryu or Chun in SF4) if you do it early and go into a throw or s.lp pressure.
cl.hk as an anti-crossup is iffy unless it’s a crossup from up close. You can’t use it like Fei Long’s/Seth’s cl.hp in SF4 - Raven’s cl.hk is just too slow. At that range I suggest dashing underneath.
Does EX Wind Cross work as an anti-air like super? I doubt it but worth knowing.
If my s.mk/cr.mp is trading a lot is it my timing’s too late or is that just the way it is?
Doing cr.mp xx lk alter ego is too risky as anti-air because you’re relying on the counter-hit. Need to check if cr.mp xx lp shuriken works.
I haven’t really explored cr.mk that much. I know it goes under most fireballs and it can go under some normals/specials for sure. It might beat some specific jumping moves but I haven’t really experimented enough to know when/how it would be viable. I’ve mostly been working on execution and spacing in this game so far so I’m not super far up into the tech side yet. I pretty much just did it on stream to show off and to get people thinking about applications.
I like far hk for slow jumping characters actually, but yeah cl.hk is way worse than cr.mp/dash under/nj.hp.
EX Windcross is actually invincible, but doesn’t have startup invincibility, and I don’t know the exact frames. You can sometimes tag people but the risk/reward until I know exactly how good it is doesn’t seem to be in ravens favor.
s.mk done properly early should never trade in my opinion at all. If you trade you probably messed up. Cr.mp is more dicey, the hitbox isn’t as good as st.mk, but it’s faster and you can do it later and it hits jumps more on top of you. Need to test vs. the jumpins of the cast as a whole which I haven’t done yet.
cr.mp xx shuriken works, I’ve done it before and it’s a force block iirc if they didn’t get ch.
Raven has two lows, one of which isn’t all that reliable unless you chain to s.mp (talking about c.lk here) or able to 100% get a s.lp after it. So the only thing you can really do is c.lk>s.mp (hit confirm) > s.hp > EX shuriken or c.lk > s.lp > c.mk or if they REALLY are only blocking low just doing c.mk (hit confirm) wind cross.
They are pretty solid options none the less IMO, but they take a lot of getting use to especially online since you can’t have audible ques.
