If the people arguing for the latter would provide something besides sensationalized articles, and perhaps solid evidence that there is an alarmingly high number of cases where there wasn’t a shadow of a doubt that a rape happened, yet the perpetrator got off free, then we wouldn’t even be debating this. However as it stands, most of the material being brought up revolves around situations where everyone is hesitant to pull the trigger on convictions because details (stories) are constantly changing, and new discoveries are being made in relation to the case

i dont know if anyone with a thumb up their ass is talking to me, but just to say, i didnt read any page in this thread before this one, and i just assumed this was just some general “rape culture” thread, so i posted what i posted, because there kinda needs to be a thread to discuss this, rather then open up one every time a story ruffles our feathers, similar to the florida sucks thread.
with that said, if you have something to say to me or my comments, say it to me in this thread. i truly do not know who some of you are talking to with these vague, general comments, that have done nothing but spark frustration, anger, and unnecessary post.

the fact of the matter is women need to take more interest in their personal safety because the world is not fucking nice, and never has been. i have never met a female, or had an ex that has taken action in making sure she is not a victim. they (females in my life) have usually depended on a friend to stay relatively sober to make sure they both get home, or just winged it.
side note, i have a long vegas story of some australians trying to fight me because i had my brothers baby mother on vacation with me (she came to visit with her new boyfriend and my niece and nephew) in the bathroom leaning on the sink, and they thought i was taking advantage of her because she was pretty drunk (we hung out for one night, and she got drunk for the first time in her life at like 26.lol), even after i explained that shes drunk, its her first time, shes with me (i said she was my girlfriend just to make it easy on their stupid drunk minds) and its 3am i didnt expect anyone in here while i pissed real quick. we were both black (so it wasnt some possible race issue), but they assumed like oh youre taking advantage of this girl. it wasnt until they were bout to get that work in mgm that she was like no, leave us alone, we’re fine, hes family, and they peeled off in their shitty bmw all mad that they were wrong. it was just so frustrating though that even men when given a rational explanation to things, are charged up on some 911 code red nonsense in vegas of all places, as if shitty drunk people isnt the norm. she wasnt screaming, she wasnt giving me head in the bathroom, she wasnt asking for help. she was just in the bathroom acting like she wanted to barf, i was pissing, i calmly explained to you more then 3 times the situation, your friend popped off, i shut him down, you kinda got angry, i deaded that shit, and your still pissy. whatever, ranting
anyways, i think many of us here who do not live some stereotypical gamer nerd lifestyle have many experiences and much to talk about. its not that this has been 5 pages of nonsense, as i have read the first two now. its that everyone wants to find something to hate while avoiding that which they cannot challenge, then make that the focal point of whatever tirade of displeasure they want to go on, even when reasonable responses have been given.
there is a severe lack of education from parents and schools about the realities that teens and young adults will face because everyone wants to be politically correct, not introduce their in a bubble kids too early to the real world, or are just flat out stupid. if we are educated its through cheesy as fuck educational dvd’s or vhs in my time, and not anything substantial, just enough to say you did it, offend no one, and still keep your job.
there is no rape culture in america and statistics are as they always have been( ie, please do not tell me 1 in 6 college women are raped. thats an epidemic of rape, and its just not happening). a vast majority of men are not rapist, and would stomp the life out of one if they caught them. an outlandishly small minority of males are rapist that prey and attack women, even smaller for females, but no one is spittin the real to these teens and young adults on how to deal with that, or see signs. america is a land filled with low functioning autistics who claim to be normal, so what do you expect. lol
