SUZAYY!!! THROW IT OUT THE WINDOW!! SUSIE! DON’T PLAY WITH ME MUTHAFU-, ****SUE!!

Then look at an 05 or 06 Altima. can be had affordably, doesn’t have the expensive to work on transmission (CVT is bullshit) and Ace & Koop can testify to how much room Markdub had in his trunk. I can’t say DJ equipment wil lcome in or out easy - Ace would know more than I would about it, but all the other options I can think of push you into small SUV/Crossover territory where you’ll see a dip in gas…not necessarily bad gas…but not as good as say a sedan or a small sedan.

You can always Scion xB it up alsogreat cargo space, 4 doors, good on gas, only downfalls are aesthetics aren’t for everyone - and the engine isn’t…f-awesome - so if you put ‘too much’ weight in the trunk I can garuntee you’ll have that typical ‘pick up’.

i feel you but i think you’re living in the past man. this is an era where clowns like rick ross, drake, lil wayne, wiz khalifa, etc. can have good careers. and kanye west is respected as an MC and one of the most popular rappers in the past decade. standards been dropped. NY is no longer the mecca imo. being lyrical = guaranteed brick or small following.

This is possibly the most lax posse cut ever. Niggas fronting on El-P and Despot, but Das and Danny got the shit imo.

“Nah dun I’m on one I’m dumb, I don’t got guns dude but let’s battle and see who sons who/
I’m reading Sun Tzu, translating Don Killuminati into Spanish wrapping my body in bandages/”

“I’m at the Pizza Hut, I’m at the Taco Bell, the combonation made my eyes bleed
It’s Herman I’m swervin the nervous MC, I’ll rap on the track if my friends let me (Thank you friend)”

Unreal , thanks for the suggestions, I know about xb’s being roomy, my cousin had one before it got totaled when he got rear ended by some chick. I’m looking forward to ace and koop’s suggestions. I am low income, so I need a car that has a high likely hood of not breaking or giving me a lot of trouble.

i think ace can roll the route or even hyper kid… they are djs so that will help cover u champ. i have the same personal (not family or the mrs.) car as ace [scion tC] an plan on gettin a truck next…

as far as loot… make sure ya credit is solid an work that credit union. I literally…not kidding. literally called my credit union… we ran numbers an they told me to go get it at such n such time so they can transfer over the money an paperwork. i literally digitally signed my name on my credit union setup an went to scion n got my tc on some real gangsta shyt… no signing no money removed from my pocket or account. just sat in a office for 20 minutes while they set up everything. wait i signed my name on a paper stating it had 12 miles on it from a test drive an the right for them to get my tags n such. thats it. made sure ya credit it solid.

Yeah I am driving a Scion XB now (bought it when it first came out) and it is cool, I love it for transporting DJ gear and stuff.

On a side not what yall think of this list?

Yeah, my credit is non existent, I’ve never had a job, and even when I do get one I have medical bills out the ass my dude. I’ve been in and out of doctors offices most of my life. I really need to get one of those in good condition cars from a person selling it at their house. Like those old people who sell old 90’s caprice’s and stuff for a grand or two. Something in town and high way safe. If a hurricane ever pops off here again I can get away and not worry about the car leaving me stranded on the side of the road.

I just think NYC is dead,

how many more songs is Jadakiss gonna feature on?

How many more songs is Busta Rhymes going to feature on?

How many more songs is Busta Rhymes and Jada gonna feature on together?

How many more times will there be a MC saying “im bringing New York back!” and nothing happens?

When will people stop calling anything with Nas on it classic?

When will people stop tuning into Funk Perez Master Flex?

When will NYC mc’s stop trying to sound like their from down south?

Why do NYC/Springfield niggas look and sound like they about to cry when they tell me u can hear the pain in Freeway and
Beanie Sigel’s voice, and its music they can feel?

Why they won’t let D-list mc’s with Struggle Bars like Papoose,Maino,Red Cafe just disappear?

Why Saigon’s Greatest Story Never Told is slept on?

How come we don’t embrace older mc’s besides Biggie,Jay-Z and Nas in NYC?

How come Duck Down isn’t at the fore front of NYC???

How come Joell Ortiz is the least talked about dude in Slaughterhouse?

=============
I’ve been saying it for a year now NYC is dead and is a cess pool as far as hip hop goes. But as for KONY,if anybody I’d give it to 50.50 never hopped the down south band wagon, and he stayed himself

Auto auctions are sometimes worth checking out

Cars:

You got to prioritize what you will use the vehicle for the most. Before my current family ride, I used my wife’s Accord (05) to transport my DJ equipment, I could have one person ride with me going to gigs as everything fit in the trunk (speaker and bags) and the fold down back seat (MAKE SURE YOU GET A 60/40 SPLIT!) where my decks were. My daily driver, as Koop pointed out is a Scion tC; great gas mileage (4 banger son!) but the spacing is small (could barely fit my speaker into the ride…then again its 4 feet tall). Depending on how you have your setup (I have a full out case that holds 2 CDJs and a 10" mixer) you could skate by with an xB. Altima would work I believe, should have the same spacing as the Accord

Honestly man the Scion’s are serious. I have driven my XB everywhere, and have hauled so many things that I rarely had to use someone elses vehicle. The gas is on point, and for me the space was great (I am only 5’8") so I really enjoy it.

I prefer the Kia soul to the Scions actually. This isnt me but this is exactly how mine looks, same color and rims. Lotta room in the backseat for dates nahmean!

I

I have a tc… yall can have the box… an i KNEW it was u rollin pumpin hammer pumps an bump…i knew it lmao.

I don’t think its dead. I don’t think its handling the changing of the guard nor the generation change…same as the west coast. If you know your history this happened before for both coast. It takes time an harsh lessons to be learned in this genre of rap. Once artist realize some work has to be put in then it will set a trend… NY aint dead… commercially its lacking so is the west… this is that find yourself gap time an the game will be trending with a new route soon.

Guys this is a fantastic interview… its 45 mins but its well worth listening to. Great stories about Jay-Z and DMX, Jay-Z and Nas, industry bs, etc

i was just about to post that, lol.

Funny thing is the xb is pretty much the flatland bmx car, majority of the guys I know who ride own one.
More life questions.
Since my mom has fallen sick there’s no income, she’s in the process of trying to get her aflac, disability, unemployment ,etc.
I am in the process of appealing my SSI for the 3rd time, I’ve had a lawyer always.
If they deny me again I can no longer wait for another appeal.
I was thinking about getting into bartending.
Is the field good for making a decent honest wage that will sustain you?
or is it better as a second job/side hustle?
if not what is a good field with no college degree as of yet to get into when you have a disablity like me?
I have multipe sclerosis .
lastly, what is the best way as a young adult to build up my credit once I have a steady income?
I don’t want to have jacked up credit like most of my family.
I have plans to build a house one day, I doubt I’ll find a pre built house that fits all I want.

I hope im wrong man,I miss that ghostface voice type of NYC music that makes you want to flip over a truck then just mellow out in the back of the subway eating chicken grinds.i miss them days son,i wanna go back…thats my word.
