I hate when artist use the “DJ” title and haven’t really done shit for it; producing isn’t DJ, rhyming isn’t DJ and yelling ALL OVER TRACKS isn’t DJing. I wonder if there is a video of him actually getting down on the 1’s and 2’s to make me think differently about him
He’s actually a pretty dope DJ from footage that I’ve seen of him spinning during Labor Day weekend. He does that shit on the low though because there really isn’t as much money in it as there used to be.

With the introduction of Serato and the popularity of MP3 DJing, bum cats with a week of DJing experience in their Nana’s basement spin at clubs for $200 and that hurts the pockets of the DJs with years under their belt. That’s why Ciph has moved on to his Comedy event, full-time mornings on Hot 97, executive producing for Nina Sky, etc.

HE had a lot of hip hop shit i ain’t ever heard. some shake it for your daddy she shaking it for me . Beat was so good pumped up it was crazy. They tried to cut him short, and he was like fuck that. And did another song . Then at the end he did a millie from lil wayne. his whole band came up to do it , and it was just so outta nowhere it was hilarious. Sad to say he spit wayne’s shit nearly as good as wayne.
That song is on his new album, Sex Therapy; features Nina Minja (what ever that chick name is). RT comes with some smooth shit everytime, really impressed by his catalog so far
