I guess it’s official. Weezy f’s babies.
You won’t catch me doing the souljah boy or the cupid shuffle, but if you’ve ever in your life done the electric slide you can’t say shit. These are dance songs not meant to be taken seriously. If I’m at a club/cook out/social event and want to get on the dance floor, the last thing I want to hear is Nas/Jay/Insert “Serious” rapper here. You might be happy doing that little two step in the corner, but the rest of us might want to dance. History isn’t being lost, you’re just growing up like every other generation before you. If you can’t go out and name every single motown hit like your father before you probably could have then you need to slow up on the hypocrisy and learn your history before trying to teach everyone else. What we consider hip hop was the music of our generation. Our generation still makes that type of hip hop, but you can’t fault the new gen for making what appeals to them. I used to be a hardcore hater of anything I felt wasn’t REAL hip hop. Then I grew up.
Yeah, don’t hate it because it’s different, hate it because it sucks.

Why you trippin’? I aint even do nothin’.
I agree,Im not hating on the new gen.And I understand those songs aren’t to be taken seriously.I would never want to hear no “Get Urself A Gun” neither at a party.I should’ve explained myself a little clearer im sorry about that. Thanks for correcting me on that. What I was trying to say was older people shouldn’t blame the younger people when their not sharing with them their hip hop.And share without this prideful attititude.I used to be one of those people also. But I changed my ways since I see we can’t understand each other when we both have attitudes.Im 19 now and I see some things that so called “pop” rappers have, some underground dudes need to have that.I’d rather listen to Wayne than "insert underground rapper with big words here* since I can’t even UNDERSTAND what their saying.
Nigga I stinky leg daily, shits fun.
Idk son…i think only broads should do that shit.
I still do my humpty dance tho son. Shout out to Pac!
Humpty Dance and Biz Markie dance all day!
Lulz, I don’t think he’s that stupid.
:smh:
its funny when i see dudes who are like 300 pounds doin that shit.
Nah idk about all that I leave that stanky leg shit for the females…im not shakin my ass or bending over like that imo…shits to borderline. I’ll stay rockin that 2 step tho…
And this is exactly why I wouldn’t make an even moderatly acceptable DJ…I would like to hear “Got Urself A Gun”…I don’t know any dances short of the tootsie roll…like I don’t even know the electric slide…I’d rather stand in the corner nodding my head reciting the rhymes…but hey I admit that.

Legend has it that there’s footage of me rapping the “Humpty Dance” at karaoke night while I was slizzered off of that Henny. The only thing that I remember about that night was a few breezies throwing $1’s at me while I was flowin’.
I still lulz about Ace & I in middle school doin the MSPAP rap. we were practicing in the TV studio, and we were trying to find an instumental (we settled o nthe Wrekonize remix by Smif n Wessun), and I put the cassette tape of Crucial Conflict in the system. somehow a flip got switched and Crucial conflict played thru the WHOLE FUGGIN SCHOOL. We let it run for a good what 5-10 minutes before someone came and told us its playing over the PA.
ITS SHOWDOWN!
