The Rage Quitting Thread

@LiangHuBBB so mr cockyhubbb if I beat you with my 0skill lvl what does that make you?

Dude got amnesia from getting shat on by Otter, lol!!!

I really like the amount of blowups and meltdowns SFV produces.
Last week there was that guy on reddit, posting some Ibuki combo and getting blown up as a rage quitter.
Now we have that loveable example of a human being. It’s fun. 。◕‿‿◕。

Probably how it should be, but it’s satisfying to know that rage quitters got hit with massive -1000LP bombs lol.

edit: but yeah, L to quitter, W to winner makes sense. The losers loses their points regardless, so why would they even ragequit at that point.

Still, many of them get to keep the 5-10k they originally stole. Wolfkrone just quit playing and gets to remain a top 20 player

Its hard to show someone up for free, never mind a money match.

I also think its funny that people need alternate accounts to troll. If you are gonna troll, be a man and show who you are with your original SN/account. Im looking at you Gief neck beard.

The points of the rage quitters, are pretty precious to them.
A win, will be a win regardless.

If it matters that much to them then indeed…let them keep their precious points…
A regular loss should be 10 points no disconnection…
disconnections past two times should be -2000…
Time period of inactivity being a minimum of 3 hours…
disconnections past 5 times in a timespan of one day, reset to Zero but no removal.

I think it should be this simple. If your disconnect rate is higher than 5%, you’re only allowed to play in casual and battle lounge. No reason for anyone with a stable connection to have a disconnection rate higher than that.

I want Capcom to reset my rank

I’d say Liang’s Nash can comfortably waste him…hard

I’ve had very little, if any rage quits this past week. I think the update is working.

I’ve had 4 RQs over the last 48 hrs. And each time it got to two Inna 24 hr period I stopped playing for the day cause if I understand correctly, if I get disconnected a 3rd time, whether or not it’s my fault I get a ban and a pt deduction correct?

I think as long as you don’t get disconnected from the SFV server (meaning you have to re-connect in the main menu), it doesn’t count as a strike.

Wrong. That’s just BS spread by fearful Reddit shitposters and by RQers. As long as you end normally your connection to the game server (and not the opponent) you’ll be fine.

There’s still no evidence that the “wrongful punishment” can happen. I had two rage quitters today and nothing happened.

I don’t know about any of the above, but I do know as long as it says “the player has disconnected from the match server” or whatever, they disconnected and not you. you’ll be brought back to the menu and be able to play just fine. that’s not a count against you.

Now, there are situations - (Which I’ve personally went through.) where there are some people who lag switch so hard, it could make you game freeze. Sometimes you can simply way till they disconnect and it’ll take you back to menu to others where your game just freezes and you HAVE to close it to be able to restart and play again.

I know for a fact that those types of things where ever you have to reset the game - it’s counted against you.

Be mindful of that.

Ive had two RQs this past hour. Little skerd to get back on. But Ill probably jump on in a few. Here are said vids.
