Rage quitters still run wild. The most annoying thing is that you can’t stop getting paired with them. So, some rage quitters will quit on me more than once and then we’ll still have to play. I even message these people and they always say the same thing: “i didn’t think you deserved the points”, lol. Wolfkrone uses the same line.
Also, the whole “i got punished even though i didn’t rage quit” is up for debate. I was rage quit on over 6 times yesterday and nothing happened to me.
FWIW, I think guys like Tampa Bison and Wolfkrone have been rage quitting since day one. Would love to see their disc rates.
Capcom should just simply show the persons disconnect rate during the ask screen. PROBLEM SOLVED. When Wolfkrone shows his 5% rate, he’ll have a very hard time getting games (and yes early on he was raging A LOT).
Of course they have way more than 5% disconnection rate. They only ragequit matches they are about to lose. Any player that’s able to win 95% of his matches wouldn’t have the need to be a ragequitter at all.
The penalty is not deterring anyone. Three matches last night and the last 2 were back to back punks https://youtu.be/3AgmOXCLueE they should just start issuing console bans.
If you’re good you’ll have a high rank online if it’s something that you care about. If you suck it doesn’t matter if someone dropping on you awards 10,000 Virgin point bonus to you, you’re still not going to be high ranked. Though you can suck and have a high rank so long as you have no life.
All online fighting games regardless of how they tally the points the wins the losses and the system rules it doesn’t matter. The same rules apply.
This is what an online fighting games “community” looks like: in the top 10 you’ll have maybe 5 actually good players who deserve their rank and 5 scrubs who have no lives and are horrible. Then everyone else is either good or sucks regardless of rank because they don’t have the time to spend online.
A good litmus test for someone is to ask what they care about more. Do you care about getting better at the game, or do you care about your virgin rank. If you could pick between being the same skill level you’re at now but being ranked 2nd in the world or improving significantly and being ranked 37,005th in the world, if you’re not choosing the latter you’re a loser you’re doing it wrong and you suck at life.
It’s really disappointing to see this thread have so much attention while the input lag has next to no attention. Really really sad measure of the times.
people post here theire videos and talk about certain quitter.
what is there big to talk about the input lag? people here acknowledged it and hope capcom will “fix” it.
what else do you want to talk about the topic?
its there, it might suck for some people, same people hope it gets reworked…
I get mad because those points could boost me up. Boosting me up will match me against higher ranked fighters that should be better than me. This exposes me to better play and practice against it. Thus making me better. shrugs
Ran into a couple more fraudulent platinum rage quitters last night for you guys to be aware off, it seems to be mainly PC players dipping out at the mo, I tried to get back to rank as quick as possible to hopefully try and get matched up with them again but they were long gone.
Funny enough, most of the ragequitters I ran into so far were on PS4. I believe it was just a coincidence though. Can’t think of any practical reason for either system to have more quitters than the other.
Just had one earlier. The guy messaged me all mad as well. I was fucking with him, but then started to feel bad because I get the pain of trying to push forward. Still no reason to RQ though.
