Uh, no. DS9 was awesome, and you said yourself the Voyager was good too.
No, that’s not entirely accurate. Final Fantasy XII sold very well, was critically acclaimed, and won many GOTY and other awards. People like to think that Final Fantasy was a dying franchise for years, but the moment when that you can truly say that the FF tripped up with gamers was when Final Fantasy XIII was released (and even that game sold extremely well). All the main games that came out before it sold well and were critically acclaimed.
yeah Basquash got pretty stupid midway (lol swords and magic in basketball?). But the first 10 epds are some of the most epic pieces of material I have ever witness. That anime could of been something very special…
I liked Robocop 2. Not a masterpiece but a fun followup. I’ve read the Frank Miller comic version of his original script and there’s elements that work better than in the finished film and there’s elements that really didn’t. I wish the film kept the mercenaries hired by OCP to clear out the slums, and Robocop shoots a grenade held by the head mercenary, and the psychiatrist uses the mercenary’s brain to put into the new Robocop. That made a lot more sense than some cult-like drug dealer even though the character in the film wasn’t bad but just wasn’t very interesting. Plus the Frank Miller script lacked that annoying kid -obviously forced into the script by the studio looking for an anti-drug message- and had all of the good moments that were in Robocop 3 (the doughnut shop scene with the cops, Robocop using a modified hand cannon to replace his hand) but the whole bit in the film where Robocop is re-programmed to be more politically correct and he fries his circuits was done in a way that made sense in the film as opposed to the Frank Miller script.
It was this, and them dropping ever current (and interesting) story and sub-plot to randomly send the Turtles into the future or some alternate dimension…it was year, it was terrible.
Yeah. I did, but something as horrible as what that TMNT2003 thing sounds would probably make me kick the worm out of the tequila bottle. Speaking of which, your PSN tag seems to be missing from my archives.
Off the top of my head for anime, S1 of Bakemonogatari and Code Geass were both excellent, and simply nosedived into ridiculous awfulness when they began their second season. Frank Miller’s DKR to DKSA is another example, although I’m sure Miller started to suck prior to DKSA, so it wasn’t as sudden as Code Geass. Supernatural’s 6th and 7th season was a really drastic drop in quality compared to the 2/3/4/5 seasons. They’re still watchable, but just barely.
You might have kicked me on accident. I don’t see it on my list anymore, so maybe I did get mixed in. I’ll get you tomorrow when I get on, or you can send me on to deadlyraver. I should be up sometime after the sun gets me out of bed. LOL. drunken phone yapping is good in small doses, but after an hour or so, not so much.
@ you assholes. most of the shit y’all named sucked in the first place. Heroes fell off? HEROES? it was always bad! it had potential to be good, but it just didn’t live up to it.
Code Geass? fuck outta here
Bay’s Transformers sequels fell off? the fuck is wrong with y’all?
