well, I actually like Shyamalan.
Sixth sense, Unbreakable and The village are awesome, and Signs is good. The Happening was alright. I only disliked Lady in the Water.

TM3 failed because there was nothing innovative about the game. To say TM4 failed is not entirely true, because the game itself is a much improved version of what TM3 should of been. But, TM4 is really a broken game. Seriously, everything is broken. Sweet Tooth is broken. Moon Buggy is broken. Super Thumper with freeze special is broken. So much shit and strategy can 90% a car easily, and Sweet Tooth can 90% you without having to move.
I guess they had to up the dmg to ridiculous levels, and it’s just a shame that you can die so easily in that game.

Where’s Mel Gibson now last I heard he starred in The Beaver as his major comeback film which apparently was supposed to be surprisingly alright, but now he’s dissapeared again. The hell?
Also do movies count, because if they do I nominate the Matrix trilogy, started off really strong but both sequels were noticeably worse than the previous film.
Also any horror movie made framchise ever besides the Evil Dead trillogy.

Also to me DBZ, or “Waiting for Goku” as we like to call it, fell off for me when we were waiting for him in his stupid ship and he mentions “I’ll be there in 16 minutes” and it takes 3 epidodes… Fuck you.
Ong Bak 3 was actually pretty good.
imo you gotta check em out. Evangelion 1.11 is okay, mostly a re-treat of the series. Evangelion 2.22 though… as soon as the last Angel rolls around, GOOD CHRIST! shit gets so fucking epic! Shinji is still Shinji in the new ones… but he’s nowhere near as big of a angsty bitch as he was in the original series. you might as well wait though, when 2.22 ends you want to go straight to the third one and it isn’t coming out until 2013

Mass Effect 3 when it gets to the ending, where it goes from one of the best games ever to one of the worst endings (of any medium) ever.
Wachowski brothers - first Matrix was incredible. Second one… went back and watched it a few months ago and I thought it was actually really good. It was nice to see a modern action movie that didn’t have cuts every 1.3 seconds and shakey cam, and the fight scene is still one of the best action sequences I’ve ever seen. The third one though… Good god that movie sucked.
Transformers - I loved the shit out of the first one. It was dumb but there was something about it… Second one was literally the worst movie I have ever seen, didn’t even watch the third one.
Star Trek after TNG.
Voyager was cool though.
That’s not a very quick fall-off. 1966 (beginning of original series) to 1996 (First Contact)? That’s not a bad run… although there were those lean years between the original/animated series and the movies.
Mortal Kombat took a while to get good (UMK3) and shit the bath directly after.
Final Fantasy games. That shit got downright horrible by the end. Square itself may as well go in that category. They went from making many good RPG’s, to suddenly just forcing any of their RPG’s to be Final Fantasy themed. And shitty.
Speaking of Ong Bak, what about the star of the movies–Tony Jaa? Wasn’t he hyped up to be the next big martial arts star? Last I heard of him, he was on the run or something and he became a monk?
How is that a quick drop off? They had pretty good games all the way up until 10. This is slowly turning into a “Things I don’t like” thread.
