I’ve been experimenting a lot lately with cr.MP buffered with EX Hozanto. This might work against st.HK spam. On a somewhat related note, this was working really well against Fei Long and his Rekkas last night on XBL.

kn14- you just described every situation i’ve ever dealt with against gief. everything you stated is exactly what i’ve had to do to fight one. as for gief’s st. rh… what i’ve been doing is slide on reaction to it for the knockdown. then run the hell away or get out of the corner if you were pressured into one.

So all forms of Green should at least be punished with FF Chain, cr.mp if you feel you managed that one frame link or TC RunSlide.
maybe its a spacing issue but literally every single time i try to punish EX greenhand with st.hk ~ bushin chain, i only get the first two hits of the bushin chain to connect. the hp whiffs.
Possibly, just remember if you dont want the chip damage or if Gief has meter, you can always Mk tatsu if you see it coming 
Hm so Gief’s green hand is considered a projectile? Meaning MK Tats > Green hand?
Yeah since it destroys Projectiles its consider one, (Green Hitbox), So since the start up of Mk tatsu has projectile invincibility you can beat it with it.
at the beginning of my experience against Giefs, I thought this match was impossible, but when I learned to use st.hp st.mk and to maintain the space, cr. mp against your jump-ins, but was eating loops knee, when I learned here on SRK, to escape the loop with Run EX, EX and punish green hand with U2
Now my opinion is that this match is 6-4 for Gief

Fuck yeah…preciate it Sir. I haven’t seen a mention of HK Tatsu as an anti air vs. a far jump in HP from Gief. Has anyone had any luck w/HK Tatsu as an AA vs. Gief? If not I’ll try to remember to test it tonight and see what’s up.
HK tatsu is one of the worst anti airs ever.It trades like a bitch.
I saw Kiryu use it against Condor dive happy T.Hawk players.But When I tried it against a local Hawk player that shit traded heavily in his favour.
Also on another note,we had a 2v2 tournament last night that was character locked.Ryan Hart chose his main from back in the day,Guy!Funny thing is the whole tournament hasnt finished yet,they made it up winners/losers finals I think,then they had to shut up shop.Grand finals are happening at another tournament on Sunday.I hope he pulls it off with Guy!
5 days ago started using run stop pressure in my game (any tips please)
also was in training mode trying to figure a good use for Cs lk and noticed that u can combo it after command elbow
and u can ultra 2 same goesfor run stop cLP,csLK into ultra 2
anyknows the frames and hit box on the close standing lk?

I rarely post here cause, honestly, I hate this place. People talk/theorize too much and they don’t know crap. No harm intended.
Anyways, here are some of my fights from our last week’s turnament. One of the top Akumas from Europe (Italy precisely) and a few of his friends managed to join our turnament. In the end I managed to win it. The skill level was pretty mixed.

good stuff TChamp. in the grand finals set there was a moment where you walked in and out of akuma’s cr. forward range really quickly and did st. strong xx jab shoulder(this didn’t combo but he still got hit by the shoulder), really nice stuff. you played really clean… good shit man.
