I wish I played on X-Box so I could play you K1. Anyways Bison gives me a ton of trouble still and if you could get some matches of him that would be great. I seem to have a lot of trouble approaching him, his runaway and pokes really strong, I let him get out of pressure a lot with ex pc and ex devils reverse. and his scissor kicks give me a ton of trouble. I do use option selects on his teleports though which works great on bisons that just dont know. Overall i have been getting better at this match but he still manages to get the better of me.
I can get that against Gman if I face his bison. But you can avoid EX PC with EX bushin or MK tatsu and Run slide puts him under it… lol, Devil’s Reverse you can actually TK Izuna it, His scissor kick pressure can give anyone trouble, but if he is doing to get in, cr mk. and cr mp will stuff it. I’m sure other normals will as well but NEVER go for Sweep, It’s good you know the OS for his teleports that stops a lot of his escapes and won’t give him much time to think and most likely make him waste meter. I’ll try to get a few good matches against Bison but I assure you I may lose…
damn those were some great matches from both players. i’ve always liked f. champ’s dhalsim… he plays him pretty aggressive as opposed to most. combofiend doing st. fierce on block to set up sweep at a safe distance A LOT. i also liked his smart use of ex shoulder to get in and how a couple times he dashed after seeing sim’s fierce whiff to close the gap. really smart play by both.

Another great match, seems like s.hp works great against rufus’s dive kick pressure. Combofiend’s corner mix up is ridiculous as well, don’t think ive seen a guy with better mix up.
Also does anyone else know why he whiffs a s.lp after a back throw then follows up with a jump in? Is it a safe jump or something??? I noticed it during his afroshoto match and he does it here as well.

@samkiken-are you talking about the part where he forward throws rufus into the corner, backdashes, whiffs a st. jab then jumps and does d+elbow? yea that was a safe jump… the reversal showed up when rufus did ex messiah… the st. jab was just used as a timing mechanism for the safe jump d+elbow.
no, it wasn’t that part but very similar.
He does it vs rufus at 10.00 once and then again at 11.14 and 11.47, but i remember seeing him do it against sim a few times too. It looks like a nice little trick I could use in my game to help with the timing of follow up jump-in.

Tbh, Kiryu doesn’t ever seem to do well in mirror matches a while back he got bodied and p’d off another Guy.

Maestro you gotta remember Burn kick is a projectile move, so MK tatsu and EX bushin are viable ways to escape them. Cr lk/mk to avoid and cr mp i believe beats them.

lol doesnt look like you need very many tips. very nice, solid gameplay. the other Guy player didnt look very good, but maybe its just because he was always blocking lol. nice run/stop pressure strings. Obey might have a challenge lol
