would like to point out that you can preform this reset with a level 2/3 focus anyhwere on the sreen, just delay a st hp till they are on the floor basically, then lp bushin flip. catches anything but crouch blocking (afaik) and does 440 damage, more than any combo you can do off fa meterless and basically as much as a bushin chain into ultra.

About the c.hk, I seem to be doing it a lot and getting smashed for it too, need to stop myself and sort it out. I’ve actually lost a fair bit to Cody’s online through the same thing he was getting crumpled for.

I learned the hard way the his run>kick gets focus absorbed from a distance. I’ve even had it focused from mid/close range. If that’s not bad enough, it also gets stuffed and beat by a lot of things.
How does this work anywhere on the screen? Wouldn’t Ninja Sickle push them too far away?

the run / overhead is +2 on hit and is active for 5 frames, according to prima’s frame data.
i’m guessing the overhead hits really late (or meaty), so the hit advantage becomes at least +4.

I started doing this to my brother when he was trying to find what character he wanted to main. It’s mostly a guessing game, but if you train them not to reversal neutral jumps it can be a huge advantage for guy’s pressure game. I’d swear i even grabbed him while going for a crossup once but that might just be me.
Either way it’s good to see that it works on so many major reversals. My brother cracked and mained hakan just for U2 to stop this.
