“This Land is Your Land” was written by Woody Guthrie in the 1951 as a direct rebuke to Irving Berlin’s “God Bless America,” and as a protest against what he saw as Berlin’s “glorification” of America.
“In order to make it work, ‘this land is your land, this land is my land,’ people [need] to understand it doesn’t belong to us,” said Tebo in reaction to Lopez’ performance on Wednesday. “If anything, we belong to it. And when our land is sick, we are sick.”

A lot of people in the workforce eat shit under tyrannical idiot bosses. If we’re lucky, Dr. Birx has good intentions and stuck it out for the opportunity to act on them. If everybody stood up to their shitty bosses, we’d be seeing a lot more good times in the streets with people out of work and a global pandemic killing and causing cabin fever.

Yeah, I’m not a fan of Dr Birx, but it isn’t like anyone else was going to be allowed to do any better under Trump.
