The Political Thread 2021

Bunch dumb fuck Rudy’s.

There’s a big helping of “who’s running against who” before I’d cosign that. Biden and Harris definitely aren’t two of my favorite Dems, but against Ted Cruz or any of the Trump enablers they’re basically a lock for my vote.

And let’s pretend no one with Trump’s last name is running 2024. Right now Ted Cruz is basically a front-runner for the R nomination.

Who would take Trump’s place though?

I think Trump had success because he and his personality worked very well with the base he was trying to reach and with his vague anti-establishment message: to everyone Trump was a joke, but to Trump supporters that was a joke at the expense of the political establishment and the libs, so Trump’s attitude ended up becoming a form of twisted charisma for his base.

I don’t see anyone in the Republican party, or even inside Trump’s family, that can replicate his unique retardation-accidentally-turned-charisma that could fire up Trump’s base.

Cruz is a politician cynically trying to imitate Trumpism, Don Jr. is an amoeba and Ivanka may have a vagina too much for Trump’s chauvinist base. The Republican party doesn’t seem to have good potential leaders outside Romney, who would take the party in a completely (and saner) direction.

Yes, but he is weak.

It’s not even about Gabbard or Yang. Both had less support than Biden. Biden was getting hard stomped by Sanders, Buttgieg and even Warren. Everything ain’t a conspiracy, but it was hilariously obvious fuckery was afoot.

No fucking body wanted Biden. He didn’t have the numbers or backing. Everyone said peace all at the same damn time? He was barely campaigning or doing much of anything. Him being in the run for candidacy was a joke to his peers and the media.

Poof, everyone drops and says they support Biden. Nah, anyone supporting that bs as normal can fuck off. DNC still a bunch of crooked shitters in my eyes.

If all the right has to push by 2024 is Ted Cruz…holy fuck what a travesty. :joy:

Guess Biden could really get a 2nd term.

He won’t though. Biden will pass it off to Harris for the easiest lay-up in political history.

If Biden runs against any of the current potential candidates from the Republican party he wins easily.

Problem is, he might not run because he’d be 82 in 2024.

Kamala Harris may have the easiest presidential run and could get the seat before loser Hillary…

What a fucking timeline.

I think it would have been easier this time then when Hillary had run because Trump didn’t have a political record yet. This time he did and it wasn’t a terrible good one. Not saying anyone could win but the list would be larger this time then last time.

That site is the most delicious salt I’ve ever tasted. I found the red wave, it’s made of Trumper tears.

He had the $$$ though. Most of the people who dropped out early dropped when they were out of campaign dollars.

Now a lot of that is back room politics for sure, but it isn’t like anyone was holding Yang or Buttigeg’s families hostage. Dudes were just out of money and decided to cash in their good will for future clout.

Not wrong, it’s just irritating watching it all take place while they act like Biden’s surge was organic.

Thinking about it…Kamala could sweep 2024 depending on how these 4yrs go.

Nobody wants trump fuckery to resurface and first female president depending on how well this term goes could go over very well.:thinking::thinking:

How is there not some kind of fuckery afoot when people who were POLLING HIGHER than Biden drop out and endorse him ALL AT THE SAME TIME? Nobody said anything about Yang or Gabbard being the “absolute best choices” (although I think Gabbard would have either won or at least given him a hell of an election.)

So everyone drops out to get behind Biden except Warren who was running a milquetoast version of what Bernie was doing just to take away from Bernie’s support when it looked like he was going to potentially get the nomination and none of that raises ANY questions from you, especially in light of the the DNC email dump where they basically admitted they screwed Bernie out of the nomination? Word? This isn’t conspiracy theories mate, this stuff actually happened.

Arent you forgetting the contributions of the black population esp in southern states?

Biden- Obama connections!

Despite those connections Biden was basically a ghost in polls before everyone dropped out.

Everyone was on the Sanders train again and Buttgieg was doing amazingly well.
