No wonder Reps want their red states to secede, they would screw the blue states for all kinds of shit

Jokes on the red states. Without blue state tax dollars going through fed government redistribution they’d be super broke shitholes.

Red states would be in for a shock once they realized blue states didn’t feel like subsidizing their cornfields anymore.

Pretty much most red states are parasites on Blue states with 2 exceptions.
Cali which is a money pit (Extreme blue states views with red state spending), and maybe Texas (which is shifting more to blue every year). Realistically Texas is maybe the only state I can see leaving the Union and be able to maybe keep it self afloat, assuming they don’t need key industries from other states to fill gaps in the infrastructure. Cali without the US will shatter, maybe if Cali breaks up into smaller states would some of the more norther regions could survive. SoCal would be absolutely fucked without the rest of the country.

Thats the other thing I don’t see any states leaving the US, infrastructure too many states would be too dependent on other states for resources and infrastructural needs. Next part only covers agriculture, Like Cali grows more fruits and vegetables than any other state despite constant drought conditions. Then you have the Midwest which is responsible for the vast majority of grain in the US.

Report: Biden Team Already in Talks with Iran over Return to Nuclear Deal

The Biden administration has already unrolled its plan to return to the 2015 nuclear deal and has begun holding quiet talks with Iran, an Israeli TV station reported Saturday.

Officials for the incoming administration have also updated Israel about the conversations, Channel 12 News said.

A separate report by the Israel Hayom daily said Israel, wary of Biden’s promise to return to the deal, is crafting military options to “undermine Iran’s nuclear efforts or, if need be, counter Iranian aggression, which will soon be presented to the government.”

The paper also quoted Defense Minister Benny Gantz as saying: “Israel needs to have a military option on the table.”

President Donald Trump withdrew from the deal with Iran in 2018 and has since imposed crippling sanctions on Tehran.

During the Obama administration, which spearheaded the deal known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), Israel on occasion threatened to act militarily to prevent Iran from acquiring the bomb.

Also over the weekend, France’s Foreign Minister Jean Yves Le Drian warned Iran aimed to acquire nuclear weapons and blamed Trump for allowing it to happen by quitting the deal.

“The Trump administration chose what it called the maximum pressure campaign on Iran. The result was that this strategy only increased the risk and the threat,” Le Drian told the Journal du Dimanche newspaper.

“This has to stop because Iran and – I say this clearly – is in the process of acquiring nuclear [weapons] capacity,” he said.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is also said to be putting together a team, which will include representatives form Israel’s security apparatus as well as the Foreign Ministry, Defense Ministry, the army, the Mossad, and the Atomic Energy Commission, to discuss the deal with the incoming administration, Israeli media reported.

According to Walla News, Mossad chief Yossi Cohen may be appointed to lead the team.

Last week, Netanyahu last week warned against the returning to the deal.

“If we just go back to the JCPOA, what will happen and may already be happening is that many other countries in the Middle East will rush to arm themselves with nuclear weapons. That is a nightmare and that is folly. It should not happen,” Netanyahu said, speaking alongside US Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin in Jerusalem.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo warned that Iran had become al-Qaeda’s new headquarters, and that the two are now “partners in terrorism.”

Britain, France and Germany on Saturday warned that Tehran has “no credible civilian use” for the uranium.

“The production of uranium metal has potentially grave military implications,” said the foreign ministers of Britain, France and Germany in a joint statement.

It was pretty much a given that Biden would return to the Iran nuclear deal. Article from 2017 before we pulled out.

The jist is that the deal allowed us to inspect their nuclear facilities to make sure they weren’t producing, in return for less economic sanctions

Pulling out destabilizes the extremist portion of the country ability to do shit because less money gets leaked into terrorist orgs, but also simultaneously makes Iran more of a nuclear threat

I won’t pretend to know which strategy is best, but it was a given that we would go back into it with Biden stepping in.

Corporate press is absolutely to blame, and Fox News is a prime example, and politicians being shitty is an ever-present cause of political disillusionment, but universities?

Reads and sounds like cheap anti-intellectualism.

Universities push an agenda just like the press does. How is that news?

And he’s not only talking about the right wing corporate, it’s a problem with ALL the corporate press. The business model for cable news is a shitty one and networks like CNN and Fox are to news what WWE is to greco roman wrestling. But at least WWE is honest about what they do, the corporate press not so much. They should be forced to label it “news entertainment” because that’s what it really is.

Real question, did we ever find out what the deal with the Nashville bomb was? Because I’m not sure terrorism is the right way to describe something without demands or even a clear motive attached.

And not to defend corporate press or anything, but when that’s what he LEADS a statement with, everything after sounds like a straw-man.

Plus, universities? Universities have the agendas of their funding and their sports teams, and not necessarily in that order. Sure professors have agendas, but so does literally every random person on some level. And the prof in petrochemical engineering probably has almost literally the opposite agenda the prof in women’s studies has.

The Nashville bomber was a 5G conspiracy theorist, someone I’m sure plenty of people on here or CNN would be comfortable calling a terrorist. These are two separate tweets that I just posted together for brevity. Cable news is like social media in that it has a toxic effect on public discourse and that’s what he’s saying.

As for universities, a lot of what goes on in society starts at the university level. A lot of the woke stuff started with college students who were being taught by professors who subscribe to varying strains of left wing orthodoxy. I know people who work in academia and what they say is the same as what gets reported, that anything that isn’t left wing is punished and that people who work there and don’t agree with that often don’t last long or just don’t speak up for fear of some kind of retribution. Yes, they have agendas for funding and sports but that’s a whole different thing than what he’s talking about.

This and the SC picks make me wonder if DNC having the house and most likely the senate, will still face roadblocks. The NSA having Trump cronies isn’t good in any form.

This fucker can be removed once Biden gets in right?!
