Eh. I donât know who/what Say is posting, but nobody really takes a guy like Alex Jones seriously or expects that theyâre going to get âtrue newsâ when they watch him. The same canât be said about Fox or CNN. People actually think those are 100% truthful sources of news when they have corporate sponsors and the higher ups have a hand in what gets reported or not. I really think stuff like that should be forced to carry a label of ânews entertainmentâ because more often than not, thatâs what it is.

Well no, I mean obviously âliberal tearsâ videos are partisanship porn. I mean actual news. Say what you want about Tim Pool, but I donât see how people can they donât trust him when he does exactly what cable news does, except (to my knowledge anyway) without higher ups and corporate sponsorship.

Keep in point were mocking a guy who called official court documents from the official US government site fake news and some kid in 2016 crying his Proof.
Most news outlets has a bias, this chart places news by the bias and how accurate they are
This chart not 100% accurate, but it gives you an idea what to expect.
I suggest you look at multiple sources, and if you see news sources from both sides being about the same than at least you know itâs not a partisan issue.
I donât expect Zalta smart enough to figure this out, I still think you see this and go âOh okay that makes senseâ.
Associated Press and Reuters are your gold standards, yes they arenât perfect and they know that.
But they try as humanly as possible to strive for accuracy and not to color their news with personal biases.
If you really want to be mad at comprate news, donât be mad at CNN, be mad at ABC News, who first had the bright idea that the News division of a TV Network could actually make money instead of existing as a Public service as part of their FCC mandated requirements (that now been repealed).

Fair enough, but Iâm afraid that there is indeed a not-small number of people who take their skepticism of big media and channel it into shutting their brain and listen to youtube entertainers or Alex Jones assuming that since theyâre not âestablishmentâ they alone can be trusted.
In fact, I fear that group of people is anything but small.

Sure, but I think that cuts both ways. A lot of people think that just because something is on tv and has a logo theyâre familiar with that itâs automatically trustworthy and that anything that doesnât have those things automatically isnât.
You have to take these things on a case by case basis, but if youâre inclined not to trust the establishment (and why would you at this point?), then youâre more inclined to try to seek alternatives to the establishment news sources and thereâs a significant number of people in the US who are doing that, I think rightly so given how compromised the corporate press has been shown to be.

I find ground.news is a handy aggregator of media and partisanship. Saves me a bit of time vetting sources through bias databases, but Iâm not so committed Iâm willing to pay for the service.

Go ask around another forum (because itâs tribalism here) on what is more reliable, videos of actual people being recorded (which you brand as youtube vids) or what is reported on the news.
You are the one who sticks to an actual narrative that appeases your beliefs just by how you are making the news source as a better comparison.
