They say they want the free market to control things. . . . . . . well, here you go.

I’m sure they are, but I wouldn’t say that’s what the real motivation behind them pressing the “banned” button on conservative voices.

Look, instagram won’t let you show a nipple on it’s platform, but you can show a dude get his ass whooped or shot in the face with a rubber bullet, as long as you put a warning on it.

Most liberals I know don’t have an issue with a nipple, and would argue that they’re saying that violence is more acceptable than nudity.

Instagram ain’t letting you post a tiddy, even though most if not all of the people that work there would agree that violence is more harmful and offensive. They take this position cause it would hurt their pocketbook more to put tiddies on there.

How else can you explain it?

Wait, what about tiddies?

You’re fine chad, man nip is ok on insta, post your bare chested BBQ and cigar pictures as much as you want!

Just no lady tiddies

Well generally speaking, people working in Silicon Valley are educated and intelligent.

And generally speaking, educated and intelligent people lean left.

So it makes sense.

Just look at any blue/red map down to the cities. The areas that are blue, generally speaking, are where the high paying jobs are.

EDIT:

Generally speaking (just wanted to say that one more time!)

The same people that don’t accept facts?

They accept facts… Only if they come from crazy alt-right shitbags

So alternative facts.

Gotcha.

Dang, y’all remember when alternative facts first came up? Fuck, man, love him or hate him, Trump’s presidency made for some great entertainment.

Imma argue that “intelligent” is a step too far lol. I work with the tippy top of “educated” people and most of them are fucking idiots when it comes to anything outside of their fields.

It’s been a trend that’s gaining steam that conservatives in this country don’t trust high education and that it’s actually detrimental to those that attend.

The distrust of the higher educational system by conservatives leads to a distrust in science.
That’s why climate change isn’t real, covid is an overblown hoax, etc. etc.

Not going for a gotcha moment but how do you define educated and intelligent?

Most people memorize facts and don’t know how to think.

Dude Trump being entertaining is literally THE REASON I even started paying attention to politics and is the sole reason I voted for the very first time this past November.

It was against him, but still.

I really hope Biden makes politics boring as shit again and makes me lose all interest in it.

Agreed.

Politicians should be like NHL defensemen.
If you don’t notice them, it means they are doing their job well.

You conveniently left out my “Generally speaking” part. Your quote of mine makes me sound like I lumped everyone who is educated and intelligent into that group. I didn’t. I said generally speaking it does.

As for what I mean by that, I thought it was pretty easy to infer what I meant. I talked about people who are higher paying job markets and people in Silicon Valley, which also includes higher paying job markets.

So I’m talking about people who are able to earn higher salaries for the most part when I talk about being educated and intelligent. Just lump them all into “smart” if you want, but it’s people who can earn top dollars.

But, I am not saying EVERYONE who does that leans left, but in general. Which is why it’s not surprising the blue/red “hear” maps tend to be blue where the high paying jobs and high cost of living areas are.

They’re just facts that wear flannel and Doc Martens, right?
