I too agree about moving arcana to the other side… in my eyes the side without marvel has been the Sahara, a barren wasteland only to be traversed on your path to somewhere better IE… PIU. So I think very few marvel, tekken or 3S players even know it is there. I try to get marvel players over there but many are reluctant to take the journey. If arcana was next to a marvel they couldn’t help but see the awesomness that is arcana, especially with Marvel players like Dave, Pete, Brandon (when he gets back in) and myself playing it. Move the 15 in 1… who plays dig dug anyway?
I will stop in monday also, I am now usin half the chars in arcana heart! I gotta feel out which one or two I like the most.
Yeah I want to do the tournanment the week after next, to give everyone a little more time to play each other and come up with some new stuff.
The biggest thing is finding a time where everyone can make it . So post here or let me know when your at the arcade. I’d like to do it when there are alot of people at the arcade to get a crowd going. A good tournament will put arcana on the map at the arcade.
A Friday night/Saturday night would be best I guess, but I’m not even sure if I’ll be able to make it for a good while. I’m trying to secure my job position at the moment before trying to spend money I can’t afford to let go of(schools gonna be starting pretty soon).
But try to set up a date so we can get advertisement and everything going. I want to give the NYC people enough time to make it down and everything, but if the sticks aren’t changed by then I don’t think they’ll be very interested. >_>
It probably won’t be possible, but it would be so awesome if Melty Blood were in by the time the tourney happened. Also we need to set up a schedule of when games are to be ran as far as tourneys go(MvC2, Arcana, T5:DR, 3S, MBAC).

i only know of two i want to play and even then i go to fiona…
don’t woory about tekken… i would focus mainly on 3s, MB, AH, MVC2 cuse tekken does they own thing…

Also Eric, make sure you post it in the tournaments section and get it put up on the main UP website, along with taping flyers to the cabinet.

I want to do it on the weekend so what is better for everyone Friday or Saturday?
People are starting to pay attention to Arcana Heart. A few more people start watching each day. I need everyone to be at their best not just to win the tournament, but to show everyone passing by the machine how hot this game is. Thats why I need as many arcana players to show up as possible.
BTW due to the 927,381,648 complaints about me playing Arcana at work. I’ve decided Melty Blood is on its own when it comes in, so hopefully it either won’t need help getting started or someone else that works at the arcade will take on the responsibility, both are pretty unlikely though.
By the time Melty comes in, I’ll be working again, so I should be able to help with that. I’d be so much more of a trooper for Arcana, but everybody knows my money situation so it can’t be helped. It’s obvious that whenever we all get together to play, we turn heads. It’s not so much of you needing to play the game as much, but just help out people in terms of figuring out combos and the system, beat their asses a couple of times, then let them get better on their own. Let the scrubs feel like they’re good, so when somebody better comes around it’ll feel like it’s their duty to get better.
Besides, Melty Blood has so many freaking people who would play, that even if nobody in Philly played, there’d still be like 20 people on the game religiously.
Also, the games wouldn’t need so much work if they were closer to fighting games other people played.
EDIT: Can we get some kind of recording equipment for this tourney? Arturo wants to know how we’re doing, and it’s a tradition to get the Arcana tourneys recorded.
I personally would be down for a friday tourney but if Sat works better for people then I’d try my darndest to show up. I just need some advance notice so that I can plan my weekend accordingly. Once again I think Arcana would REALLY get more notice if it was somewhere next to a marvel, yesterday like 6 marvel cats came in and they rarely try to see what happening on the other side so they not only missed some mediocre marvel competition (if they had saw me and dragged me over) but they also missed the greatness that is AH. Keeping the fighters consolidated would be better I think.
E, I too would like to issue a complaint about your playing AH while on the job… please stop beating me. I’ve recently “bought” a copy of MB so I’ll be practicing onmy PS2 at home, finally got my swap magic to work only had to take apart my ps2 to do it. Unfortunately, I can’t play “imported” cd games only dvd
a saturday tourny would work best for me cause I work during the week. If its on friday I might be able to make it but I would have to work that morning which sucks.

ver b tonight for pc, although my pc has been acting mad weird. How long should it take to buy? a couple of hours. The thing is I don’t like playing fighting games on pc, my pc runs them (mame) great but it just doesn’t feel the same.
