Well, Dawain, I’m gonna try out these tactics of yours to see if they are doable. Interesting that you know this much about the game, I REALLY want to play you now. I’ve gotten the basics down (somewhat) and am looking to really come up in this game.

Everybody really needs to learn their stuff because this is the time when the cream rises from the rest of the fluff, or when the wheat is threshed from the chaff, or when the goats are seperated from the sheep, or when the boys are seperated from the men… yeah I think the last metaphor works best.

overall… hype’s doing his thing(plant yoriko=possiblites?) and eric is getting better (water grab ticks?) i felt intense alot of the matches i played… but man 5c seems to get me out some jams that i don’t think of really… IAD’s are nullified really by 5c and others that most already know… i think im gonna implode some new tricks on you suckas next time… lol…Plant FIONA!! yo i was trying some shit yea canceling dp’s into seed super is way to good… make me thing… infinite possiblilties

I just realized I never really posted here. :confused:

Well, Arcana on Tuesday was serious as usual. It was great that I got to play Justin for the first time, and I got some games in with Dave, Eric, and PJ. When me and Justin first played, he beat me with his rush the hell down style(it’s good so far), and it was really fun figuring out how to work it against him. In the end I came out on top, but I only think thats because I have more experience than him. He has the crossups and the psychic DPs down, all he needs to do is get his combo execution to 100%, and he’ll be a great force to work with.

Dave played a lot of Heart today, and it’s surprisingly good(maybe he played her before I played him). My only complaint is that I wish for him to sit down with ONE character and learn all their BS. He basically has the system down, he just needs to develop himself with one character and learn how to fight against me and other people in general.

Nas, well what can I say about Nas other than it’s always fun playing against him. His skill is about the same as mines, and whenever we play it’s an epic showdown. Hes found some really BS combos with Fiona, and his overall gameplay makes me think about what I’m going to do. Blind rush-ins result in super armor 5Ced to doom into BS DP loop aka 40% is gone. I don’t really know what to say to him because hes already at my level, but just keep practicing I guess.

Eric, why are you playing the same way as before. The only thing I saw you do today was that crossup xN times, and thats really it. Your bubble summons aren’t being punished as much, but they’re still getting punished, and you’re letting me run BS blockstrings off of you. I’m not sure how to tell you to improve because that probably what Konoha is all about, but just think a little more before to empty jump into me and get free DPed into long ass combo.

Philly is getting strong, but we need to be much stronger to stand against NYC. I know we can do it, we just need to get a whole lot more serious. You guys are doing good for how long you’ve been playing, but I need somebody to step it up and give me trouble so I can start improving. Playing you guys is basically “lets practice a combo I already know how to do,” not enough “lets find out this guy’s mindgames/mixups and get that ish outta here.”

Hal, Cmon man, give it time, we’ve had the game for only about three weeks now so please cut us a little slack, especially considering you’ve been playing months before most of us. So give it time and we’ll be sure to whoop dat ass. As of right now we’re pretty much finding out a lot about the game, I didn’t even think to do that counter dash move into a throw, that really opens possibilities. Also the other thing you have to think about is no one, other than you plays with… witch chick. So we don’t know her weakness and strengths and how to counter yet. Rest assured, however, that the usual suspects will probably be up there in time.

To those in evo, GL. I’d like to go someday but seriously I couldn’t.

Sup ppl I am gonna head down to the arcade now for some arcana training I should be there for a while. Oh and Demon hyo made it to the top 8 in mvc2 at evo so he plays in the final 8 on
sunday. He also told me he did something never done b4 he got a perfect on 3 different ppl in evo tournie matches one on the big screen which was recorded.

I just wanted to post this up for billy before I forget. I’m doing an Arcana tournament in a couple of weeks and I need to get arcana moved to the other side. Arcana and Melty blood should both be over there while they are new. Alot of fighting game players don’t even come over to the other side and its a pain trying to lure them over there to check arcana heart out. I was wondering if you could move the candy machine to the other side and stick Arcana heart and melty blood between the MVC2s so people can see them. The only games to ever keep a crowd on that side were Tekken 5 and CVS2 back in the day. **B side kills new fighting games. People wouldn’t even go over there to play MVC2 when the 2 machines were on that side. **

A bunch of people have mentioned it but I haven’t brought it up yet because I have been trying to teach people the game and provide some competition when people come in and keep my eye on the redemption counter in the front at the same time, which I can’t do from the other side. But it really does need to be over there with the MVC2 machines so people can see it, at least until it picks a larger group of players.

I agree with Eric, I’ve been meaning to ask the folks at the arcade if they could move it over to the other side, but I kinda forgot with all the hype going on. Putting the games next to the fighters that bring in money will get the serious players interested in the newer fighters as well, because if they’re playing on marvel and a game is right next to it getting real serious play, they can’t help but be interested. When it’s on the other side(the side they don’t even need to go on), it’s obvious they won’t even care for it.

The A side seems to be the fighter side anyways, so putting them over there is only a logical choice.

I can’t wait to play Melty Blood, and I’ve got a friend in Japan right now who could possibly pick up there upgrade for you, so I’ll see if he can get the good for us.

If you buy melty blood, make sure you’re getting it from coinopexpress.

well since im getting this job at amazon… i may be able to throw pot bonuses… for melty, Arcana, and MVC2( that’s if brandon wants it)
