I went through today and played some matches in XI. I played a new guy who I’ve never seen before, never played XI before, but obviously had KoF knowledge. Then I had to whoop on Eric some, before leaving seeing as how I’ve gotta save money for Evo East.

Man, UP is pure S-H-I-T!!! That had 2 be the worst selection of fighting games in an arcade, ever!!! An I was beginning 2 think that CTF was bad, but after seein’ UP 2day, man, they TAKE THE CAKE!!! Where’s KOF XI? Did they take it out that fast? I’ve seen Chucky Cheese’s with better selection!!! LOL, just kiddin’ but man that was horrible! They definitely need 2 step it up in there! I think I’ll email them now 2, even tho I don’t frequent there as much as u guys.
U have 2 admit, pesky that UP was much better when they had NeoGeoBattle Coliseum, Rumble Fish and KOF XI in there, although XI replaced NGBC!!!

The Only thing I miss playing Down there is Rumble Fish 2, Neo Geo Battle Coliseum, KOF XI (NOW!) and Rage of the Dragons (Throwback 2003.)

U.P. doesn’t take out games unless they aren’t making money, and they gave XI a chance.
What are you speaking? Ever since they put XI back in their I’ve always found myself going there on my days off and putting at LEAST $40 into the machine, if not more. I supported the game all I could without going completely broke, but I guess that still wasn’t enough.
So does UP think they can get more money off of THAT game? Hah, let the games begin.
edit: and if that were the case with games, why hasn’t CvS2 been taken out yet? That game gets less play than XI does, for sure.
if you are spending 40 dollars to play KoF XI I guess that means you either TOTALLY SUCK or there is NO COMPETITION for it. If you wanted to support it so bad organize a tournament, and if you hate UP so much why even post in here.

Now you should know. UP is Capcom Territory. Anything SNK or Sammy type Fighters never lasts down there. Which is Crazy cause CVS2 been down there so long that they had to put it in a small cabinet 
But I guess spending over $40 doesn’t mean shit to UP. You can spend $10 on Marvel 2 and they will never take that out
I love Marvel 2 but 5 Machines on 1 side is Ridiculous.
Actually, it’s a little bit of both I’ve never won a tourny in my life at the game, and besides me, Eric, and a couple other regulars at UP, nobody really plays the game.
Well, I don’t think organizing a tourny would help, since it’d be the same people who regularly play entering. Eric would have to get a go from the head ups in order to put the machine on freeplay, which means even if I wanted a tourny we’d need Eric to organize it.
It’s not that I don’t hate UP, it’s just that I wish they’d actually listen to us(me mostly) when we say we want certain things. I realize that telling them to get like 10 new fighting games is pretty unrealistic, but at the same time they’re making themselves worse by not doing what the paying customers want. I want to help make them better, not pout and find another place to watch rot.
Aw come on man, that wasn’t called for. I wasn’t trying to put anybody down with my post, and I definitely wasn’t trying to come off as a whiny little kid. I’m just angry at the results, even after I did my part for the arcade. Putting in a good $100-150 a week isn’t good enough, I suppose.
Okay it’s been a while since I’ve been on srk. Hmm they took out KOF to put in a less crappy game… well surprise surprise. To all of the nay sayers out there I must say the reason why they keep in CVS2 is because it gets played. I play it (every now and again) but I hate to tell you guys if you go up to UP you better step up your MVC2 skills or Tekken at least. Although UP is no longer cutting edge in reference to new fighters it’s MVC2 community is relatively strong (since all the center city players have no where else to go) so what you cats that keep complaining need to do is get your quarters together, accept the fact that you suck (don’t worry I do too) and take your losses in MVC2 like a man. After a while you’ll get better and you’ll surely learn how to beat cables, sentinals and storms.

I’m sorry, but I’m not gonna’ waste my time on an arcade that won’t “Man Up”, as u stated, and get with the times, and at least have a better selection of fighters, along with, at most, 2 cabinets of MvC2! UP is turning into a Gamezone or Chucky Cheese! The game selection in there, currently caters only 2 kids and idiots like u that are afraid of change! The last time I went 2 CTF, they didn’t have anything new, but the selection was still better than UP, and I would have actually spent money in UP if they had, at least half the selection they have in CTF! Now, I know comparing a big arcade in NYC 2 one in Philly isn’t fair, but even 8 on the Break in Jersey has a better selection of games! The point I’m trying 2 make is that arcades, in the US, especially on the East Coast, are a dying breed! U’d think that UP being the only staple goto arcade in the Philly/S Jersey/Delaware area, would have a better selection, :looney:!!! Oh well, I guess UP will just fade away like the rest of the arcades in Philly; or at least, Chucky Cheese could buy their location, 'cause they already have the same selection of games!!!
BTW, SvC Chaos better then KOF XI?! HUH, ???
