That red line makes it a little confusing, but it is there for illustration purposes only, and is already in the wall; it uses your existing internal power cabling that goes between your outlets. You effectively use your building’s power cabling as an intermediate network cable. It basically goes:
Internet modem/router -> Ethernet -> Powerline adapter into a power outlet
then in the next room, you plug in the second powerline adapter, and run an ethernet cable from that to your device. No drilling required, and it should be more stable than WiFi.
You fucking for real? He gave the most goddamn obtuse explanation. Plug one end in a socket, plug the other in a different socket = Magic. That’s how he describes it. So eat my whole asshole.
When you comment, however rare it may be, it’s always useful. THANK YOU FOR A PROPER EXPLANATION INTO HOW THIS DEVICE WORKS.
I should pick one up. I have hundreds of Amazon Bucks currently burning a hole in my pocket.
I understood it from the Amazon page, that you required another explanation surprised me. Not to mention who the fuck cares how it works? It works if you follow the steps.
i beat mad max, i thought it was pretty dope. even though i dont like the …“batmans” style combat, i thought it was used well in this case, very brutal and hard hitting stuff, loved the shank finishers. the focus on vehicular combat was something new to “open world” games. upgrading your car was absolutely required, but it was pretty cool seeing it transition into the magnum opus.
the next game i started was broforce, which is SUPER disappointing to me, i actually think it’s a bad game. the only thing it’s got going for it is the homage factor…
Never heard that before, all I did was plug things in and it worked. Still got my wifi up for phones/tablets. My room gets a weak wireless signal so I also set up a WAP in my room that’s connected to the powerline as well.
maybe its the particular one I was looking at then. amazon is annoying because they bundle up reviews when there’s multiple versions of a product and most of the time its not mentioned which one they’re talking about
Get a powerline networking kit. Extend your network through the electrical wires in your home. Perfect for gamers like you who can’t get to their routers any other way.
On similar news, a game of the same type came out recently (sort of).
It just came out of Early Access and into a Full Release. Reviews showing to be a pleasing transition.
Chaos Reborn is a table top sim game from the original makers of Xcom. Fun game, the UI is really well done and movement feels great for a tactical RPG. Once you finish the tutorial is done, all cards are unlocked so you go about building your deck from there.
so anywho, they re-released that Batman game for PC. The one that was horribly broken on release. Now they say it works fine, so long as you have 12gb of ram.
