The PC gaming Thread. Steam/GOG/Origin/Etc. Game/Software/Hardware talk

The one I fucking linked. You want 2 ports? Click the 2-port one. You want a 2-port one that has an outlet slot too? Then click that one. You want more than 2 ports? Then search for one with best rating.

Holy shit.

Anyways, Trails in the Sky SC just came out so bye.

Raz0r is retarded. Dude upgraded his PC to play SFV, but won’t take five minutes to hardwire his internet connection for the best possible online experience.

With SFV’s rollback netcode I hope 99% of your matches frameskip and teleport all over the place with your shitty-ass wireless connection.

It would take longer than 5 minutes. I can’t just leave a wire crossing MY ENTIRE FUCKING APARTMENT without hanging it, nailing it to a wall and what not. Or I have to go find someone with Cat5 cables without the plugs installed so I could put it through my wall. I’m probably gonna end up getting this plugin shit today, though. That seems like the easiest solution.

25 feet of flat, cat5 cable. 3 bucks. + a few cents of tape = not a trip hazard.

I actually need between 30-50 feet but flat ain’t so bad. I can hang that from the ceiling no problem. Better than those power adapters.

How is it better than ethernet over power? what is your PC currently plugged into? An daisy-chained array of discarded AA Duracells?

Isn’t that the Xbox One’s power supply?

Copped some power line adapters from Best Buy, if they suck they going back and I’m wiring the crib up

Could you recommend a good one of those? I really want to get better wifi to corners of the house that have weak signal.

Your wifi signal depends more on your router.

It’s a good signal and all but it doesn’t reach down 2 stories and a hallway and I need solutions.

The one I linked in earlier posts should be good, http://www.amazon.com/TP-LINK-TL-PA4010KIT-Powerline-Adapter-Starter/dp/B00AWRUICG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1446297015&sr=8-1&keywords=powerline+networking+adapter

This is the one I have, http://www.amazon.com/ZyXEL-Powerline-Gigabit-Wall-plug-PLA4225KIT/dp/B0061308MA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1446297322&sr=8-1&keywords=zyxel+4+port although looks like the price has jumped up. I got mine for like $50 at the time. It’s from 2011.

I’ve never tried those wifi extenders, but if you got an extra router and know how to set up a WAP then powerline works too.

Man, playing Chaos Reborn and Duelyst, I can’t tell if I should refund Chaos Reborn simply because I don’t have the time to put into both games. CR is good, and it can be compared to Duelyst somewhat, but I can do have more fun with CR. The UI and controls are just sooooo much better, I hope Duelyst devs play CR and steal some of their ideas on how the UI works lol.

I dunno, I guess it doesn’t hurt just keeping CR.
The game is much more faster pace, as it’s closer to a table top game than Duelyst. Where is, of course, Duelyst battles are similar to magic, but slightly longer.

finished Downwell yesterday, REALLY dope game, mechanically sound, tight controls. im not a huge fan of rogue likes/lights whatever people are calling them currently, but rng plays a smaller factor in this game than it does in others. i tested out hard mode, but since im not a fan of roguelikes im probably going to skip beating hard. at 3$ it’s an easy buy. took about 5-6 hours for me to upgrade/grasp the gameplay enough to beat it on normal.

I’m waiting for a sale on that game.
I know that sounds cheap and unlikely, but I’ve seen games for $1 go for 75% off.

Late Edit: New divinty is beast.
Mages can dual wield wands and double magic blast it up. I have a DPS mage who fights close combat and is just destroy anything in their path with the new abilities added in EE. Shits great, heard it also gets more difficult late game since a lot of people complained it was too easy.

I just recently started playing Duelyst again, now that the client is out. I should look into Chaos Reborn.

edit: Holy shit you guys are still arguing with razor lol, so dumb. Just avoid playing him, we know his connection will be shit.

i finished my review for Sunset, i quite enjoyed it, if your open to interactive storytelling games (Gone Home, Stanley Parable, etc.) i would check it out

Wait… what? That sounds great!

Just found out that Organ Trail got a pretty big update. Naturally, I bought it. I also picked up CaveStory from the recent sale too.

Also has anyone got The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth yet? Is it good?

Picked up Metro: Last Light.
Loving it so far.

Nobody knows how to make more depressing games than eastern Europe.
