Wow, I never knew that. Did they make the console version F2P as well? That’d be awesome.
Almost done downloading dat War in the North. Will give impressions as a big ARPG fan.

Only the PC version is F2P.
PMed that to you SB. How it is redeeming the HB codes now?
@Lord_Raptor are you logged in to your Steam account on your browser? I believe it needs to be from the browser.
Thats what I’ve been trying, I can’t log into Steam Community website but the Steam application works just fine.
I would love an extra MK arcade code if anyone has them around.
I buckled and bought the $3.46 upgrade.
Anyone want:
Arkham Asylum
Arkham City
First come first served timestamp law.
Oh man I hope this bundle revives the Gotham Impostors MP, that was SO DAMN FUN when I played it previously.
How bad is Gotham City Imposters F2P model that it can’t keep it’s players?
From what I played of the console version; it was pretty bad.

I dunno, I haven’t played since 360 Beta and didn’t notice it was on Steam until I got the code. So for all I know it’s a bustling hive of crime and villainy.
Oh yeah, my steam name is ニーソックス! <- Just click that and add. :smokin:
Just added, my account is Haketh89

What was so bad about it?
And anyone here play the LOTR MOBA at all?
Didn’t play very well, imo.

For shame. (added)
My account name is the same here and everywhere else. It’s universal.
Lord_Raptor:
@Sonicabid whats your steam account?
Antonio Bandwagons
I actually watched Desperado the other day, El Mariachi trilogy still holds up well.
This early access game shows a lot of potential, as one of the few TRPG’s to feature no vertical stat progression:
I talked to one of the devs about it (Michlbert) and this was his response:
You are totally right:
- Adding power to higher levels and therefore creating unfair matches, just because you play against a higher level opponent, is pretty uncool.
And we totally agree that:
- Specialisation and trade-offs are a much better way than simply adding high level items, which are more powerful than others.
So what are our plans for Ærena?
Our progression will not unlock more power, but more variety and different possibilities to play, like more different Æthershells (which may not even be as useful as the shells unlocked before, but you are able to take them with you, if you want to try out a special strategy).
In addition to that, we will unlock visual upgrades and customisation items, like profile pictures or even skins for the champions.
Progression and XP is not a cash cow for us, but a way to give players rewards for playing our game a longer time and to recompense losses, because even if you lose (which does not feel really good in a game), you have managed to get a bit closer to your next level up reward."
I think once this game gets further along, with larger playfields and more characters/options, it could be really awesome.
@Sonicabid: wasn’t sure if you’d seen this game. Looks like the type of fast FPS that you like but idk about the cel-shading
Wow, I’m surprised I hadn’t heard of Wrack before. It reminds me a lot of what Tower of Guns would be like, if its campaign were conventional and linear, rather than dynamic and procedurally generated:
In researching Wrack, it seems like this vid explains the direction a bit better than the original trailer.
In terms of oldschool arcade shooters, the extensive BRUTAL mod put Doom 1 back on the map as one of the best:
It’s stuff like this coming from the PC underground (complete with silly theme song) which makes modern big-budget shooters seem so hilariously lame. If all they’re trying to do is be mindless-entertaining violent action games, how titles like Gears suck at it so damn bad?

It’s generic as fuck. It’s nice to see something that’s actually like an oldschool FPS but it has no personality. The enemies are just plain robots and the weapons and environment are just as uninspired.
