Also, real glad I got on that lightning deal from Amazon. They offered one of those SanDisk Ultra Fit 128GB USB flash drives for $30. Shit instantly bumps up the memory to my tablet. Now when I’m on the road I can also bring a fuck ton of movies with me.
How much would a 1TB SSD cost. I ask because I have a 1TB HDD in there now with only about 85GB free.
I also defraged my drive yesterday. I read a lot of sites and most of the said you should, at the very least, defrag your drive once a month. I’ve had my pc for 4 years or so and have never done it.
I did it last night and iTunes opened right away a connected to my phone right away.
Get a 500gb ssd and a 500gb HDD. That’s what I use. Ssd has games that benefit the most, HDD has older games and all my media.
I think defragmenting my drive fixed it. Every program works as it should.
I’m still scurry though so I’m gonna back my shit up on my external HDD.
Anyone know how to take care of an SSD? I’ve had mine for a year and besides a Disk Check I did last week I don’t know what maintenance I can provide for it.
Sorry yall, had to go to my coworker’s farewell party last fri. I’ll be on tonite and will send invites for L4D2
Damn, man. You just missed the window. I’m leaving my house now.
Any Metal Slug games worth getting from the Humble special? If so, which one?

Every Serious Sam game ever can be had for a total of ten bucks. Pretty nice.
Shadow Warrior games are on sale too as well as Duke Nukem 3D: Megaton Edition.
It’s looking like it’s time for me to do some upgrading to my PC. I need a new gpu, I have a Radeon 5870 HD in there now. It runs all the games I have at 60fps 1080p. But the newer games coming out I would definitely have to drop settings to get that performance. I need more RAM as I only have 4 gigs right now. I probably need a new processor and MB.
Shit…basically I just need to build a new PC.
Do it for Phantom Pain.
I’m finally gonna upgrade my GTX 560 but I’m not sure what to upgrade to between the GTX 960 and the R9 380 (Both of them costing around $300AUD and both of them have 4GB VRAM). I can’t afford the GTX 970 ($500AUD) and there’s a promotion right now where buying a Nvidia card before September comes with a free copy of Phantom Pain (which I really want).
What should I get? I’m planning to buy it this week.
What cpu do you have? 380>960, however the 960 plays more nicely with older cpus.
I lean towards the green team, so personally I would get the 960, but it’s hard to recommend over the 380 in terms of performance.
Wait, there are cards that come with phantom pain? Link to a good one. I might just buy it now and have the gf give me the money for it later.
I have a Intel Core i7 2600 CPU @ 3.40GHz if that helps. The 380 seems better because of the performance but that promotion the Nvidia cards coming with free copy of Phantom Pain means I kill 2 birds with 1 stone (Upgrade and Phantom Pain).

Lightz you can’t go wrong. The 380 has a little better performance with your set up. I’d just go the 960! Phantom pain will run great.
Plus if you bought the 380 and PP, you may as well have spent a few extra on a 970 with a free PP at that point.
So that’s as good as the R9 390 found here: http://m.newegg.com/Product/index?itemnumber=N82E16814127874
If yes, probably pulling the trigger later this week if I sell an article.
I always forget your budget raz0r. But the 970 is as good as the 390 at 1080p, slightly worse at 4k, but neither are realistic for 4k anyway.
Budget is around $300. I wanted to spend $200 but rather not update the card for 8-9 years.
