I doubt I’ll be doing 4K because I don’t plan to buy a monitor that supports it. My shit plays fighting games pretty much lag free either from pc or console. Don’t plan on fucking that up.

Yep get a 970. You’ll be good for a long while. My 980 plays sf4 at 200+ fps. So much frame tearing my eyes bleed.

Yeah. I got GZ during the Summer Sale. Got me hooked. It ran really well, even on my laptop so I’m hoping PP will be just as good
GZ is so well optimized, it runs on potatoes. It also looks great on high end systems, which makes me optimistic for pp.
I only beat the story mission of GZ though… Can’t motivate myself to do the side ops, so I’m still on the fence on picking up PP.
You should at least get a 970. 960 is pretty gimped from the last benchmarks I looked at, that or one of the newer line of AMD cards is the way to go.
I wonder how benchmarks are going to look after DX12 for these cards.
I know right? My laptop ran it really smooth on high settings and it’s nothing special. I have a lot of faith in the PC port because GZ was impressive in terms of optimization.
Same thing with me. I found the mission enjoyable but 1 mission+some side missions isn’t worth $20 but I got it for $5 so I ain’t complaining but the mission was enough for me to get PP.

Screencheat and lethal league are legit. Lethal league is windjammers x smash w/ a low barrier of entry, great for dudes that suck at fighting games like my friends. Haven’t tried online so dunno about the netcode.
Netcode seems fine, it’s GGPO I think.

I just linked my Twitch account to my Steam account for a shot at some of the ESL drops this weekend.
Can I leave the stream running through twitch and get drops or do I have to be watching the stream through the game to get them? @ExposedD
I really hope Phantom Pain does not disappoint on the PC…I had to do some minor upgrades so I can play this game.
Don’t mind waiting for the new MGO until January.
The wait for MGO’s going to be hard, but if Ground Zeroes is anything similar on PC, I think Phantom Pain will do just fine.

I just purchased the card @AreEyeSeaKay linked to. Comes with a free copy of Phantom Pain so I’m stoked. Hopefully my rig is powerful enough to play it at 1080p. I probably won’t purchase another card for 10 years.
