also oculus has released something called positional timewarp which helps a 10fps image in the rift become more like a 50fps image. this coupled with other tricks and dx12 should make judder a problem of the past. judder used to kick in with anything under 60fps
Hey guys! Feel free to add me on Steam; I’m always looking for people to play Skullgirls and Blazblue: Continuum Shift Extend with! (My username: ThugBard). I’m pretty disappointed in my random matchups in BB:CSE…people like to disconnect if I win and be bad sports.
Also, if any of you still play Titanfall, add me on Origin, username: ThugBard
Anyways, I am curious: I haven’t been up to date with PC hardware in a while. If I were to build a tower, is there a well priced pre-built option these days or would I be better off ordering parts? I’ve been on sub-par laptops since my old tower fizzled out seven years ago (not that it was top-line then, anyways).
Use pcpartpicker.com and pick out your own stuff. It will make sure what you pick out is compatible.
Pre built rigs tend to skimp on components. Mid range gpu (which is fine) but lower tier psu/mobo/ram. Source: me getting a pre built in 2009. things may have changed since then, but that’s my experience. I’ve upgraded my psu, ram, and gpu over the past 6 years.
Tera the f2p MMO? Well, if you’ve played World of Warcraft already, I suggest passing on it. I couldn’t get into it at all when I tried it for a while. I heard end game was horrible with RNG to improve gear (grinding), but that was a long time ago.
Been thinking about building a pc for a while. I think I might wait later this year when windows 10 gets released. Not sure yet.
You guys should get Bionic Commando and Dark Void for $2 a pop. I have them on PS3, some of the most underrated games from Capcom last-gen(really fun, really solid third-person shooters at their core with interesting mechanics and gameplay scenarios.)
I only have one USB 3.0 port in my PC and I don’t think I have anything that actually takes advantage of it.
Hell ya, totally aware, in Japan currently so I have updated anything and will not be able to play until I get back. I have been reading that witcher 3 has been getting good reviews though.
