not too sure about this…

I knew the free upgrade to Windows 10 was too good to be true…

Amazon has Battlefield: Hardline, and Dragon Age Inquisition for $29.99 each today on Amazon.
What are the consensus of both games…worth checking out?

If Dragon Age is anything like Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning…I might get it sooner.

I wish these games had demos I can try out.

DA is alright for the story. Gameplay wise it’s a bit repetitive. I was giving a lot of praise early, but it kind of wore on me.

I really like the lore and the direction they went with the story, so I really enjoyed it.

Cool…I’ll check it out if the story is strong enough.

I was watching vids on different character builds.
The Mage and Assassin builds look to be quite interesting.

director of Hostel:

“Well, it was fun making movies but I found something way cooler. Just had my mind BLOWN at @onwevr. Wow. No words.”

I’m excited to see what people like Eli Roth and Guillermo Del Toro can do with their hands on some good VR.

Did you play origins? A lot of my enjoyment of inquisition’s story is because I was invested in the series. I’m not sure if it will be quite as engaging to newcomers.

Inquisition’s story is… kind of a joke. Which is unfortunate, given how Origins had a really good story. Too bad everything else about it sucked.

I enjoyed the story for what it was. Like I said, I am invested in the lore, so even minor things had me totally engaged.

Witcher 3 pre loaded. First time I’ve been excited for a release in a while.

here we go guys:

Oculus Rift Official system requirements

DA games aren’t that close to Amalur from a gameplay standpoint. A lot more pausing the action to use abilities, managing a party, etc. Amalur was closer to Elder Scrolls in third person, if anything.

Anybody download ultra street fighter iv from steam but have trouble detecting a gamepad?

No issue at all with a gamepad in usf4. Your computer is detecting it ok?

Elder Scrolls would actually be fun if it had Amalur’s combat.

@HeaT Axiom Verge is out on PC now.

Lucky for me I’m in the middle of playing through Super Metroid, so I’m gonna finish that first before I play its spiritual successor haha

I have had issues when I plug a controller or stick in, when the game is already running.

Those oculus specs are nice… Might have to upgrade my gpu for that.

$100?

Additional Rift specs:

Apart from the recommended spec, the Rift will require:

Windows 7 SP1 or newer
2x USB 3.0 ports
HDMI 1.3 video output supporting a 297MHz clock via a direct output architecture

Whelp no oculus for me. My mobo doesn’t support usb 3.0, and my i7-860 would probably crumble.

I7 should be OK. The last pointer is actually gonna be the hardest spec for most people to have.

I’m glad I upgraded to USB 3.0

Just spend like 50 bucks and grab a mobo that has 3.0
